4 of us went Saturday night and all 4 enjoyed our meals and service. food seasoned perfectly and freshly prepared. Will definitely do again. been several times never disappointed.
Their bay sire burger is incredible!! I took it home but it was still like I was at the restaurant. Really good!
Great place for a large group-the RVCC had their dinner meeting there last night. The food was great and the service and attention to the guests was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

Steel House is a wonderful, locally-owned and locally-sourced place in a small NC town. It is a true gem for such a cozy little town. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, and fun to look at, with a homey and welcoming atmosphere and a lovely patio. The service is outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff. The chef personally checks on guests. The salad bar is a very nice feature with so many options.
The food is delicious and a lot for your money. The Meal for 2, with ribeye steaks, is cooked perfectly. The best cut of ribeye is served with grilled shrimp and herbed butter. Other meals include the filet, chicken, seafood with penne pasta, steak tortellini, The Hotrodder Sandwich, The Ruben, and The Club sandwiches. Sides include sweet potato, sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese. Desserts include the blondie with high quality ice cream and creme brule. Prices are reasonable. A first class experience all the way around, well worth the scenic drive.
