Had the beef nachos. It was a huge plate of food. Went there for open mic comedy. Starts at 8 every Sunday sign up for comedy starts at 7:30 pm.

This place is awesome. It’s got pirate decorations all over it. The inside of it looks like a pirate ship: barrels, galleons, ropes. They have an open mic comedy night on Sunday. The service is a little slow, I’m not sure why. I want them to play more pirate music and techno music too.

OMG, the food took over an hour to arrive....the beer was was like warm and about the worse thing I have ever had. The employees even said the owner is an egotistical jerk that thinks his beer and spirits are the best.....dude...you REALLY need to reevaluate!!!! Don't waste your time here!!

Friendly staff but slow service. Waited an hour for our food and the four of us were one three tables that had customers. Food was okay. Beer of chilled but not cold. The house brewed craft beers were awful. Some of the worst craft beer I've tasted. Kudos to them on the pirate theme. Best thi g about the place. Definitely will not return.

I had a great time at Blackbeard's Triple Play during their music bingo night! The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the food was really good. The menu had a great selection, and everything we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I’m definitely looking forward to going back again for more fun and great food!

Have had some ok experiences there, but tonight I came in before 6pm to be there for the endless shrimp special. My waitress put the order in at 6pm and I was still waiting for my order at 6:30, however, the ladies at the table behind me who came in after me were already eating their shrimp. I cancelled my order, paid for my drink and left. They need to get their act together.

THIS PLACE HAS COCKROACHES!!!! And if that wasn't enough, the food was not good, the chicken strips were dry, overcooked and burnt, the burgers were overcooked and super greasy, and everything tasted like old, stale, dirty grease.. oh.. and did I mention that there are roaches.. yes.. cockroaches were literally crawling on the walls and our table, where we killed one... it took staff forever to handle the situation, we had to go looking for them, twice, and ended up waiting longer for them to address the situation than we did to get our food,... they didn't exactly seem surprised to hear that there was a roach on the table, not even when I showed it crushed in a napkin, it was simply taken away and apologies were given... I got the feeling this is something that happens relatively frequently..... This was our first time coming to this establishment and it will absolutely be the last..

We just moved to NC. We were looking for a place to eat. We saw Blackbeards and decided to try it. It was awesome. We had the gator, the in and out grilled cheese, and the meatloaf. It was awesome. We had a very nice time just talking and enjoying the hush puppies before our food came out. The food was fantastic. We couldn't finish, so we took home for leftovers the next day. It never made it till dinner. It was another awesome lunch.

Server was very friendly. Huspuppys and BBQ Ribs very good. Broccoli was still a little hard. Nacho's 1 Star..the Can Cheese on top defently destroyed the looks and definitely the taste.Expected a lot more.

i absolutely love this place. its a very comfortable place to hang out anytime of the day and the service is always kind and professional. i would definitely recommend to anyone in town

My wife had the prime rib sandwich in which the meat was overcooked and leathery in texture. I my meal was ok but again nothing to write about
