“I mostly don't do reviews but when I do, it deserves more than 5 stars. After my husband and I found this place, we go here alot. We love Kele, Ricky, and Jeanette (sure we will love the others once we meet them), they are amazing and so sweet. We love getting to talk to them when we come in. So many different drinks to try, can't get bored of the selections. If you don't know what drink you want, they will tell you ideas. Highly recommend!!”

“We decided to try Shogun Japanese Steakhouse on a Saturday evening and were glad we made a 5 PM reservation — the place was already packed at that hour. The restaurant offers both teppanyaki seating, where the chef cooks right in front of you, and traditional tables. We opted for teppanyaki, a bit skeptical at first since the chef really makes or breaks the experience.\n\nOur party of seven filled a table to ourselves, which was a plus. Both our server and chef were excellent, and the food was even better. We ordered a mix of steak, shrimp, lobster, and sashimi. The chef was personable without being over-the-top, and he cooked everything perfectly — the flavors were spot-on.\n\nWe came in with modest expectations but left on a food high. Great service, delicious food, and a fun night out with the family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lively and flavorful dinner.”

“Always a good place to eat! They have fresh sushi and hibachi. I love the way they do the ordering. And it's all you can eat. It's well worth the money. If you go here order what you can eat. They have a small policy if you can't finish the sushi you will have to pay. But I think it's a wonderful idea. Considering how much food gets wasted at restaurants. The staff is always welcoming. “I had a late lunch (3 pm) in tables near the bar: An Adobe burger, which is a large beef patty with jalapeño cream cheese. It comes with tater tots or, what I got, a huge pile of french fries. The friendly bartender told me this is people's favorite. It was definitely a whole day's worth of calories!\n\nThis place is in the middle of nowhere, but worth a visit if only because it's unique. You'll see mothballed planes from the airfield on your way.”

“Its the only big after hours place to hang out at. Good music, spacious, drinks, smoke area outside, space to dance, has a DJ, vip and pool tables. Only thing is that you pay 20 to get in but u can NOT go out to your car for anything or out there doors or else you have to pay again..... so girlssssss keep your products close!!!!”

“Only reason I’m giving a 5 star is because of the great customer service from the lightskin manager with the braids that was working tonight (she was very polite and understanding even gave us extra wings!) However, the workers that works the to go/curbside pickup tonight completely ignored my husband the first time he went in there to see when the food would be done and weren’t very friendly. We waited for our food for an hour and still hadn’t gotten any response on when it would be done (they supposedly never even dropped the wings) until my husband asked for the manager. We ordered bone in wings and ended up with boneless. Thank you to the manager though! She needs a raise.”

“Me and my husband love this place! Sashimi and sushi are always 10/10, everything comes out quick, their honey green tea is super refreshing. We always order a lot of food, salads, dumplings, sushi (sushi boat is AMAZING), and both of us get hot dishes as well so yes we 100% love this place, our friends come to visit us and everyone wants to go back.
The only part is that last week we came here for my birthday dinner and our server was very very very forgetful. I’m talking about she forgot to bring my husband’s beer twice, she asked me if i’d like honey for my tea and i said yes and she forgot it too, i watched our sushi sit on the counter for about 15-20 minutes until i saw that ALL the cooks started having their dinner and all of our food wasn’t out yet, so we figured she either forgot it, or she never sent the food to the kitchen. Turned out she did forget to just bring it over to us, so our sushi set outside on the courter for about 15 min. We got our hot food before we got the sushi, and she forgot my rice for the curry. And also she mentioned that kitchen made extra dumplings on accident and she asked us if we’d like to take it with us, and, of course, who’s gonna say no to that? But up until we paid we never saw them and just out of curiosity i asked if we’re still able to take them, or maybe the kitchen used it for another table (which is okay, we don’t have a problem with that) and she told us that they did use it for someone else. And i understand it all it’s just why would you even ask us if we want to take this food and then just never mention it again?? Even if she’d say i’m sorry but i can’t give it to you anyone would’ve been understandable.
And i understand if she would’ve been busy, i’d never say anything cause i know how it is, but she had just about 3-4 tables including us. Besides the fact that we’re very polite and it felt like we were polite to ourselves, we noticed a big change of her attitude at the end of the dinner when it came to a tip. Out of nowhere she started laughing and make jokes and be nice but it was kinda too late for that.
So that part of the dinner was very disappointing, but we’ve had other servers before that do an AMAZING job so we’re definitely gonna be back.”

A few years ago, at my niece’s wedding, I struck up a conversation with a gentleman who mentioned he had opened a restaurant in Jacksonville, NC. Fast forward to today, I finally made it out to his place—Booby’s Kitchen—and let me tell you, the food wasn’t just good… it was shut-your-mouth-and-do-a-happy-dance good. Everything from the flavor to the portions hit the spot. You could taste the love and pride in every bite. If you’re anywhere near Jacksonville, do yourself a favor and stop by—you’ll thank me later. As for me, I’m officially stuffed and sliding straight into a well-deserved nap.”

“We visited Bubba 33's and the food was amazing. I got the traditional wings with hot sauce. I normally prefer my wings hotter, but these were delicious, and they did have a hotter option on the menu. The fried pickles were great and so was the spinach dip. The young lady serving us was friendly, professional, and checked on us often. The only issues were that we ordered a spinach dip, which comes with bread, and we didn't get our bread until we were getting ready to leave, despite asking about it 3 times. The atmosphere is great, but the music is definitely too loud to be able to speak to your server or to the people at your table, it could definitely come down a couple of notches. Overall, great experience, I would definitely recommend it and we will be back.”

“So I’ve had my eye on Blend as I drive by for a while now. Well a couple days ago I happen to be in town and I was craving hazelnut so I decided it was time to check them out. The main attraction for me was the opportunity to sit outside on the waterfront and enjoy a nice drink. I met the lady working the counter and told her I was craving hazelnut and thought I would like a frappe, she asked if I wanted cream and I wasn’t sure then she said yea you do and I said okay. She immediately made me feel welcome and she was very friendly. She made my drink and as I tasted it she was genuinely concerned whether I would like it or not. After a few seconds the flavor hit my mouth and it was fabulous, I loved it. And to top that off I went outside as I drank my frappe and enjoyed the waterfront. As I was leaving the lady at the counter asked me to please come again and I said absolutely. Great coffee, great environment and great experience what more could we ask for. Good job and thank you, I will be back.”

“From the day I walked into American Dream Cakes and sat down with the owner, I knew I was in good hands. I was in charge of a reunion that was bringing in over 400 people from across the country. I wanted something special and I wanted the best. Being someone who doesn’t know the first thing about ordering desserts for that many people I deferred to the owner’s expertise. Her knowledge of quantities, items that are best sellers in a situation like mine, and how to display and set it up were all handled by the team at American Dream Cakes. The dessert table was a complete success! My people are still raving about how delicious everything was. There were no leftovers! What people didn’t eat, they took home for later. I have one person still craving their cream puffs! Gunilla, I can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make the dessert table at our reunion one that will be remembered for years to come! Can’t wait until 2030 for our next reunion. You can be sure that American Dream Cakes will be handling our dessert table once again.”

The staff were friendly and sat us quickly. That night they did not have a wide drink selection, noting that the soda supplier had not stopped by and that the beer selection was very limited, no worries, we had water. The menu has a large selection of Thai traditional dishes. We went with the Shrimp Tom Kha Goong, the Pork Pad Krapow Gai and the Chicken Pad Krapow Gai. Everything was excellent and we were very satisfied with our meal.”

“The wife and I stumbled across this place after a visit to Lowe's, and boy are we glad we did! We were pleasantly surprised at the portion size (we thought we were being conservative ordering a medium) and even more surprised by the taste. The pho was bursting with freshness and the flavor was amazing! I've tried the bahn mi sandwiches many times, and they never disappoint with their fresh, crisp veggies, flavorful meats and tasty bread. Wholeheartedly recommend this place! It's one of our go-to restaurants, even when we want take-out.”

“The staff at CiCi’s tonight out did themselves. They did a phenomenal job keeping the bar stocked with a good variety of different pizzas and deserts. They were cool, calm and collected despite the fact they had a HUGE birthday group, plus regular walk-in customers and of course they didn’t get their truck today, causing them to run out of Alfredo sauce, napkins among other things. They got the job done, everyone walked out fat and happy!!”

“What a hidden gem! I was thoroughly impressed with their homemade milkshakes. My kids and I stopped in spontaneously after doing a quick gps search for “fast food”. We came across Nina’s and decided to make it a sweet snack and ordered a vanilla, a coffee, and two chocolate milkshakes. “I wish I took pictures the first time trying. Never went inside because I used the drive through. The worker who took the order and gave us our food was polite, professional, and helpful. I wasn't disappointed.

I heard from someone else that the food was dry. I was overly pleased that the order was right the first time and all the food was cooked to perfection. Food was not too dry or overly greasy. It was light and crispy.
I waited about 5 minutes after ordering food but I rather wait a few minutes to get fresh and warm food.

They have many choices of food like shrimp, fish, mac and cheese, fried okra, etc. We ordered friend okra, mac and cheese, fish sticks, chicken tenders, friend chicken, fried liver, biscuit, fried chicken gizzards, and blueberry cheesecake pies. The biscuits are a humble size, light, fluffy and seemed to have something lightly sweet on top which I enjoyed. Everything was so good. The fish sticks was a little smaller than I expected but that's okay. The side order of mac and cheese that came with the surf and turf was a little small but that's okay.
The mac and cheese tasted good and felt homemade.

They gave us all kinds of sauces like honey, sweet tartar sauce, and hot sauce without asking. They also gave us pickled jalapenos, and napkins without asking. I wish they gave us plastic silverware for the mac and cheese but it's okay because I was taking the food home for dinner and perfer real silverware.
I wasn't disappointed with the food or service. I was pleasantly surprised. Good job to the cook, the person who took the order, and packed the order. Good job!”
