The staff is friendly and welcoming! Mission BBQ is a staple of Jacksonville NC. The meats are all cooked to perfection. The sauces are amazing, my favorite is the Memphis one. The Mac & cheese is delicious and so is the cornbread! My husband and I love this place when we want some good BBQ!
The food was good. I had the Blueberry Cobbler, Collards, Cheese Potato, and Brisket. The Brisket was not the best, and they gave me tons of fat. The fat was the circumference of each piece of meat, and a thick line of fat was also down the middle of each piece. It was also pretty dry as well. I really like this place and have been going here for years. I was very disappointed at my last visit.
