Wawa is a great convenience store and gas station, a staple for many. It has a place where they make food, though a lot of the items have pork in them, even the chicken, so customers must be very careful when choosing. The store has a great selection and is very convenient, with bigger locations and more options. Superb customer service is a highlight, with staff members coming out from around the counter to assist with ordering. However, the coffee receives mixed feedback. Some find Wawa coffee an extreme let down, extremely diluted with an incorrect ratio of grounds to water. Others have experienced issues with no one making coffee or running out of french fries by 5pm. Drink orders have also been messed up, such as an iced s’mores latte served without whipped cream or topping, tasting like flavored water. There have been reports of being out of whole milk for iced lattes. On a positive note, the store listened and now offers milk alternatives for lactose intolerant customers, allowing them to enjoy delicious coffee via the counter or self serve.
