I ordered a Large Jerk Chicken. It looks more like a medium to me. The food tasted ok. The Mac and Cheese needs alot of work. The Chicken tasted nothing close to Jerk Chicken. Are any of you in the Kitchen Jamaican? Lol because this was not it. This looks bad on the culture. You shouldnt advertise Jamaican food unless you know how to make it.

We were visiting from Louisville, KY and had been in town for 3 days. Our meals had been average at best….until we found Booby’s Caribbean food. What a treat!! The food was a flavorful mix of Caribbean staples and soulful sides. And, as good as the food was, it was outshined by the owners’ personalities. We met two people we fell in love with. The love they showed for their food and their patrons has been unmatched. Definitely stop in for a meal at Booby’s if you’re in Jacksonville, NC. You will leave saying, “I’ve never put anything in my mouth that tastes better than Booby’s!” 😳
She is awesome. As a fellow New Yorker, I'll say her food is the BOMB!! I recommend her restaurant to everyone I know. Big up!

Sometimes small talk can feed your soul—and your stomach. A few years ago, at my niece’s wedding, I struck up a conversation with a gentleman who mentioned he had opened a restaurant in Jacksonville, NC. Fast forward to today, I finally made it out to his place—Booby’s Kitchen—and let me tell you, the food wasn’t just good… it was shut-your-mouth-and-do-a-happy-dance good. Everything from the flavor to the portions hit the spot. You could taste the love and pride in every bite. If you’re anywhere near Jacksonville, do yourself a favor and stop by—you’ll thank me later. As for me, I’m officially stuffed and sliding straight into a well-deserved nap.

The food is absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly it is a family run place so you may see the kids around and it is nice and has a great atmosphere and had some nice vegetation and allows for you to watch some TV if you desire to do so

The Salmon meal was delicious. The collar greens are on point. 💚 the sides of cabbage and cornbread were perfect portions for my long drive back to Ohio. I recommend Bobby's kitchen.

I went on a day they weren't serving oxtails,so I got the rasta pasta with jerk chicken on the top. Honestly it was some of the best rasta pasta I've had in a while. The portion size was enough for two people,but I ate it all in one sitting. Definitely going back to try the oxtails. A nice gem that gives you your money's worth. The customer service was great,very clean and upbeat vibes. Highly recommend 👌🏼

A great discovery today in Jacksonville! First time here but it won't be the last! I tried the jerk chicken and my husband tried the jerk chicken rasta pasta... chicken was fall-off-the-bone delicious! I had 2 sides with mine... plenty of food! The service was so welcoming and made you feel at home. Highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!
This is my second time ordering delivery and both times I didn’t receive any utensils. Had to figure out how to eat the food with no utensils as I am at work. Also the salmon was good however for the price it was small as if it was feeding a child. Idk if I’ll give it a 3rd try🤷🏾♂️
