Awesome spot to relax and enjoy a muffin or sandwich. The best thing about Brewed Downtown for me is their tea selection. I am not a coffee drinker and the fact they have tea options outside of the normal black, earl grey, camomile tea speaks volumes.

Love it! Very comfortable atmosphere, cute patio setup. Great music. Awesome employees. Professional and very polite. So relaxing and the food is good made fresh. The menu is put together very well. I've been to several coffee shops and this is my #1.

We decided to stop for lunch as we read it was "Under New Management" as had gone before and not too impressed with the food at all. When we went in we asked about the management change and were handed the same menu, and told us "Nothing has changed". Not only should they have changed, the pasta salad still had ZERO FLAVOR, the egg salad on the egg salad sandwich would not even qualify as a smear, and was almost tasteless. Chicken Chipotle Panini had OK flavor but was on Flatbread so when you picked it up everything fell out. Not going back again. Ever.

We ordered an iced raspberry white chocolate latte and a hot dirty chai tea. Both were absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend this place

Me and my husband and uncle pass here every week and have been wanting to come in, today we came in and it was so quaint. The food was so good and the frappes were even better. A great atomosphere. It's my new Monday spot for sure.

The muffins.... Amazing. Coffee... Was ok. I asked for light and sweet and had to come home and fix it. It was first time and won't be my last. I believe the coffee will be a better. Everyone has an off day.?

Brewed Downtown is incredible. They've been open for years and are so under rated. The food is always hot, fresh and made to order. The coffee and breakfast options are all delicious. I promise you will get greeted with a smile and will walk away, knowing you're going to come back. This place is more than just a cute cafe to grab lunch. Its Central Perk of Jacksonville (Friends) reference. So Grateful to have found this establishment, as well as the people who run it.

I’ve visited here several times, this place is amazing! Doesn’t feel chainy like Starbucks. Everyone here is friendly and accommodating to what you want. The food is great and the Owner I believe her name is Michelle is hilarious and loves to have conversations with her patrons. If you want to visit a place where everyone knows your name type of vibe then definitely visit here. Hands down one of the best small business places in jacksonville nc!

Started off with bad vibes. The place wasn’t the most hygienic looking. The lady at the register was pretty passive aggressive and rude. We wanted to support a local business rather than going to starbucks but were heavily disappointed. We did end up getting our food togo and then we decided to sit outside to enjoy the weather. The food was mediocre at best and kinda made us sick. I then went inside to ask if there was a trash can and she looked at me and said “You said you were getting it to go, now i wasted my product” the product was a paper bag and some aluminum foil. We are now headed to starbucks (:

Went middle of day said they did not make the sandwich that was on the menu ordered 2 macchiatos after 2 attempts offered to tell them how to make .. girl at window was super sweet but some lady sitting in a chair behind counter screams I can’t do nothing with that! Give ‘em their $ back . They did give us our $ back but a coffee shop should def know how to make a basic iced macchiato . Left dumbfounded by the experience . This was 5/2022

Was too late in the morning to grab a breakfast sandwich so I got a panini with a macaroni salad side, The coffee was excellent and this was an amazing choice for brunch/lunch. Interior is super cozy and the staff is great. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!

I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile and now I'm kicking myself for not getting here sooner.I ordered one of the 56 lattes that were available, Mexican hot chocolate with the habanero syrup. It was delicious!!While waiting for my frittata I inquired about the kind of coffee they serve. The owner told me about the sourcing, roasting and brewing methods, then offered a sample of her flavor of the day. The flavored coffees are all made with extracts and natural flavors, then oil roasted. The sample was beyond what I expected for flavor impact, I was sold!But then, it got even better. I have visitors this weekend and asked about buying a bag of beans for their visit. The cutoff was Tuesday at 9am, but she called the roaster and was able to add to her order so I would have it in time.The kindness, service and attention to detail here are unmatched. I'm so thrilled to have visited here today and will be a customer going forward.
