Service was awful. Not many people in the restaurant. Waitresses standing around talking. People that came in after my table got food before us. Asked for a booth, they were all empty, yet we were told none available. The next People that came in got a booth. First time ever we got up and left before our food arrived.
Not impressed, will not go back.

Food was decent, my steak was pretty tough but had awesome flavor. They were pretty quick on getting us seated and getting our food out so definitely worth being there!

Cheddar was one of my favorite places, but the cheeseburger needs help. It is not the flavor, but the method of preparing it that I am referring to. I am a little disappointmented, especially since I brought a friend with me to try this place.

First off - Hats off to our server John. My mom, being in the restaurant business her entire life, would have tried to hire him for herself. No I'm not a critic, but when you're raised in it, you just know. By far the best server I've had in years. On point on every aspect. Now to why you're reading this. The amount of food you get, for the price you pay is hands down, the most generous portions you'll see anywhere. I highlighted the "side salad" - it's a meal in itself. Big as a chef salad at other places. The "Four sides" menu option comes with the salad or soup. Great item for those that love veggies. Incredible broccoli casserole. The steak was cooked as ordered. John asked me if I wanted any steak sauce, I responded, "Is it seasoned correctly?" He said yes, so I said, No sauce should be needed then. And you don't need any, if you like the flavor of a well-seasoned steak. I did add grilled mushrooms. The grilled shrimp, OMG - flavored perfect. Nice spices. Start your evening off with the Wisconsin cheese bites, if you have a big party of a big appetite! I noticed some other dishes on other tables, and they looked amazing. I'll have to try others on our next visit, which will not be to far off. Let me also say, being in retail almost 30 years, the hostess has one of the best personalities for making customers feel welcome. I didn't catch her name, but we dined on 2/11/2025 at 6:00pm. I asked her, after she greeted us, if I could have one of the fish in the aquarium for my dinner. She responded, "If you have a fishing pole, sure. And if you don't I have one in my car." That's the best response I've had in years to my witty sarcasm. Loved it. Keep it up and you'll win them all over. One more thing - If you leave hungry - you sat and watched everyone else eat. Parking: Plenty of parking and several for those with mobility issues as well.

time I was actually disappointed order cheeseburger medium rare and got to the middle and was raw Fortunately my daughters chicken finger plate was good. Was more surprised at our waiters response of you ordered medium rare. After showing him it's raw did offer to get me another one just because of the disrespect didn't want another one paid the bill and left very disappointed

The food is always good. The service for our birthday celebration there was awesome. Our server was great, despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and they were short staffed.
*Edit - Feb 2025, The Cheddar's Painkiller drink was da bomb. Hubby had the baby back ribs and chicken tenders, and I had the key lime chicken and shrimp. It was all delicious.

The food was pretty good. Our server kept forgetting stuff and some of our orders were wrong but not terrible. I had lemon pepper chicken breast. The food portions were really good amount so pricing was pretty reasonable.
