I was disappointed. I have been coming to C.B. for years! My favorite is the chopped steak, which I just found out, is no longer on the menu. I ordered a Sampler with Meatloaf and Chicken and Dumplings. The food was barely at room temperature, biscuits were cold and the hashbrown casserole was soggy. I hope it was just an "off day". It will be a while before I give them another chance.

Food was good. Told me I had a 5 minute wait then accidentally deleted my spot on the list and left me to wander the store for 30 minutes before I asked and they figured that out. Pretty frustrating. Oreo pancakes were solid though.

Not impressed

Me and my wife Erin eat at the Cracker Barrel in Jacksonville NC, it's always great friendly staff we love having Ruby,Michael and Victoria and Bonnie wait on us, they always make our visits amazing and wonderful. The entire staff there from the store to restaurant to the kitchen is Absolutely Incredible. Keep up the Amazing Job.

Visited last night and my food was good. Had the lemon pepper Rainbow Trout. My server was amazing. Order food to go for my husband. Southern BBQ Chicken when he got home after a long day of work he started to enjoy his food I surprised him with. He thought the chicken tasted funny cut it open and it was insanely RAW. I mean pink beyond pink. Extremely disappointed.

Our waitress was not nice at all. It made a good meal stressful. She was impatient and stern. My nephew even mentioned how he realized how a waitress can ruin a good meal by not being nice. I loved the pot roast dinner, but a kind waitress would have made our experience so much better.
We were also disappointed that the rolls were not available until we were done with our meals.

Great waitstaff, and the food was served nice and hot! The General Store inside is always a pleasure to walk through! Every time I visit, it's an awesome experience and walk down memory lane!

Vegetarian options: It's a traditional country type of restaurant, so there's plenty of veggies!

Kid-friendliness: It's perfect for children, they will love the General store!
