Darel's Bakery & Sweets

Darel’s is awesome! If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place. Their base is a soft, flaky, buttery croissant 🥐 then add your favorite topping. My favorite is the maple! They have a breakfast item my daughter name “Spankopanka”. They often run out so go early or place an order.

The croissants are amazing and so unique. Very thankful they are here in Jacksonville. One of a kind and delicious. Everyone I shared them with at work and home loved them. The staff are super fast too! I got an assortment of each! All of them were great.

This place is a gem! I'm visiting family in the area and all I wanted was a good croissant for breakfast, I love a good croissant. They brought me to Darels and I was in heaven. The place is cute and unassuming, the croissants are to die for! I had a peaches and cream, it was fresh and the peach filling was perfect. Truly incredible.

We get these for our office on the regular. Even if we are on a diet you still need to try it, lol. Awesome dessert!

I stopped by today, clueless as to how popular this place is! The owner told me to come back in 45 minutes because more were baking. We ran errands and took longer than 45 minutes so when we got back they were sold out again 😅 no sweat, but the owner was so upset she didn’t have me preorder. She apologized profusely and took such good care of us. The sweetest woman ever! 100/10 customers service. While I haven’t tasted one of the famous croissants we did try the macaroons and oh my. Those were incredible! The apple turnovers were the best turnovers I’ve ever had. I’m so excited to try the croissants tomorrow, but I had to come on here and rave about how amazing the customer service was. She went above and beyond and it left a huge impression. Thank you!!

If you like donuts but ready for a twist, this place is a must try. Lots of flavors to choose from. Croissants have just the perfect crackle on the outside and soft inside. Meshes great with the variety of fillings available. Tried the coconut and the chocolate icing topped off the Boston cream beautifully. Almost wished I had that on the coconut too. Worth the stop! There is an area to dine in also.

Basically only one product, croissant. Varieties of frosting, piped in fillings.
Cinnamon bun was stale.
No coffee available even with tables and chairs.
Help non engaging, an order taker only.
Did not feel welcomed.
