When I had a Duck donut for the first it was fluffy and delicious. This time the flavor was good but the donut was not as fluffy it was kinda flat. The quality has gone down.

Would not recommend! We waited in line and there was a customer in front of us. When the cashier was finished servicing that customer she stood talking to the other employee for a few moments and turned to us as if us waiting bothered her. I asked her if we can step forward because we respect social distancing. The cashier then rolled her eyes and lifted her hands as if to nastily say “yes!” So, I told her had she told us she was ready, we would have moved forward and it would probably be best to her customer instead of rolling her eyes. She rolled them again and we left. She’s a tall girl with a purple wig and light brown eyes. You can’t miss them because they’ll be rolling around her head as she speaks to you as if you’re the problem.

Got there at 8:30pm and they had closed the store saying they usually close early even though it says 9pm on the door and website. But they had to get out of there at a certain time which was important. So they threw away the doughnuts that they had left even though they say they were open till 9pm. Came just to try them out in the rain but guess that won’t happen. But they did say they open early in the morning. They think around 7am. Poor business service. They were nice but business wise poor. Hope the owner takes a look at these practices. I know I wouldn’t like closing my business that early and just throw away product like that. Maybe next time.

Ordered online over an hour previous to me coming into the store (the website said my order joined the queue and that it would be ready in 20 minutes) and I walk inside to the pick up area only to be ignored for 10 minutes, no greeting no “can I help you”, nothing. I had to be the one to interrupt them walking slower than turtles to ask “excuse me is this where I pick up my order I ordered over an hour ago” and this lady who looked lost just said “yes, but wait a minute” and ANOTHER FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER I FINALLY GET MY SIX DONUTS THAT I ORDERED OVER AN HOUR AGO TO BE READY FOR WHEN I GOT THERE. Almost 2 hours for donuts that said they’d be ready in 20 minutes. I have a newborn and a recovering fiancé at home and I cannot afford to be jacking around waiting for things all day. Ducks, do better.

We arrived with high expectations as the duck donut in Charlottesville is always fast and delicious. This duck donuts has taken 30 minutes to push out 3 orders ahead of us , and are throwing out donuts at the cyclic rate as they aren’t fast enough to keep up with the machine. We are very disappointed and will never return to this location.

So so yummy! My husband and I love it here! They have the BEST donuts! They make them fresh, so they’re still steaming hot when they get out to you. They have so many unique options and unlimited options for customization. They’re also really fast, considering they make them right on the spot.
