Ducks Grille & Bar Reviews
My son is deathly allergic to dairy, that being said we understand that most restaurants cannot accommodate even simple chicken strips for him. We have been loyal customers of Duck’s but that ends today. We brought my son his own food as we do most places so that we can enjoy dinner as a family but instead today we were told that outside food was not allowed. Now generally I understand that rule but if you as the restaurant cannot accommodate any food for a child then there...read full review
Awful evening at the comedy night and waste of money. Manager unaccommodating, bartenders that ignore you and unfriendly even though you paid to attend a special event so makes for a terrible atmosphere to hear mediocre local comedy. Sucks bc 10 yrs ago this place was a gem in Jacksonville for a good evening and had many great memories there. Ducks Grille & Bar provides excellent service in a fancy atmosphere at affordable prices. The restaurant is known for standout dishes like chicken Alfredo, made with preferred smaller pasta, and shrimp scampi. Brunch is highly recommended for its quality and lower prices. The cocktails are unique and interesting. The staff manages high customer volume well, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests.
Recently, customers have enjoyed their meals, with one diner mentioning the coconut shrimp, despite being surprised by the portion size. The atmosphere encourages a relaxed dining experience, ideal for catching up with family. Another group visited for New Year's Eve and found the main dining area to be more appealing than the back event space. They expressed surprise at the higher prices for steaks, like the Ribeye and Filet, which were prepared well but felt overpriced given the lack of sides included. Despite these concerns, the attentive service and good food left a positive impression, leading some guests to consider returning for special events like Taco Night or All You Can Eat boneless wings on Tuesday.
