Eggs Up Grill

1/1/26, Jacksonville, NC. I would not recommend this place, not because of the food or service, those were great. But the entire time we were in the restaurant the manager, Bea Bryant was yelling, screaming, cussing and berating employees. She was in the kitchen and the entire place could hear everything. Employees were doing their best, but they were embarrassed and humiliated by their manager’s behavior. This woman is rude, hateful and incredibly unprofessional. She even demanded to begin refusing customers an hour before closing. It was not any busier than any other day that we’d ever been in here. But I guarantee it will be our last as long as this woman is employed there. There are better humans that should be in charge of other humans, who can manage with a decent tone and an ounce of professionalism. This woman is the reason I have lost faith in humanity. Do your entire staff a favor by giving the manager position to someone who deserves and appreciates the job.

The wife and I stopped in a couple times, and the food has always been excellent, and I will have to say the last waitress we had was outstanding in every way, I even took a pic of her name badge so I wouldnt screw it up. Hats off to the establishment and especially to NE'ZIAH. Hope to see her again.

I ordered the SHRIMP WITH GRITS and it was trult amazing. And this is coming from ex employee of the company so shows that food is great and staff is friendly if want come back to eat. When I wake up late and need a good breakfast I know where to go now. Thank you eggs up cooks and hostess and management for making it such great experience!!

Such a great selection of breakfast food and the portions are very generous. My avocado toast came out looking pretty bare. Our server, Skywalker, saw it sitting there and asked if I liked the way it looked. They wound up redoing my toast and I could hear the expediator reminding the kitchen staff to use the whole avocado. Little things like that show that they really do care about the customers experience.

We had a wonderful waiter Skywalker. Food was great, great service, and atmosphere. We come every Sunday. Highly recommend asking for Skywalker for a waiter.
