Shouldn't have to be said but, finally a Mexican restaurant that actually seasons their food! I ordered take out and it was ready within the time they said. I'll definitely be back.

Very good first visit here. We enjoyed our food and the service was great. I had the Fajitas and it was hot and fresh. I can't wait to return to try more of the menu.

This place is amazing. The only Mexican restaurant in town that reminds me of home. I no longer have to drive to New Bern or Wilmington to get good authentic Mexican food.Today is the 2nd time I ate there. 1st time I dined in. So wonderful, music was not too loud. Margarita was HUGE and amazing. I ordered the chicharon Torta some tacos and shrimp fajitas. Every single bite was so enjoyable.Today I got a Carne asada Torta and tortilla soup. Such amazing flavors. The food reminds me of home. Arizona. No other restaurant compared to the size and amount of food you get for the price, plus tastes amazing. This is my new favorite place.Always clean and super friendly and attentive staff.

Staff are awesome, friendly, and accommodating. The food is great. My family loves the California Burritos. They are huge and delicious! We can never finish in one setting.

Our family ordered the Fajitas for 4 to go, and unfortunately found glass inside our meal. Thankfully no one was hurt. I called and informed them right away to ensure noone else could potentially be injured. The manager was very prompt in his response! Henry took it very personal and was thankful we were ok. He gave us a full refund and prepared a new order himself! We eat here all the time and will continue to do so. Things happen and I know they care about their customers! Thank you to Henry for being so supportive of our community!

mid. plaza del mariachi is better. After a hour of already ordering the waiter came back to read our order to make sure it was correct??? and still did not receive our appetizers until we got our main courses (it was almost 2 hours of us just eating chips waiting on ALL of our food). This was also my first visit and probably my last. We received room temperature & cold food and they brung it back one of our ice cold plates after they microwaved it, that is not authentic at all in myopinion; it was some simple as two tacos which would of been an easy remake. I left with a migraine and did not tip. Sorry but this visit could’ve been better in so many ways :(

This was our first visit to El Arriero. It was quite good. I had the tamale and a tostada. The tamale was the largest tamale I've had in town. Quite a few places in Jacksonville have little tiny tamales but this was a nice-sized one and good. I chose the green chili and was very pleased and we had very good service.I don't remember what this dessert was called but it was delicious.
