I had the best birthday experience at IHOP, thanks to Sandra's incredible service. From the moment we walked in, she made me feel special and welcome, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She greeted me with a smile, took the time to wish me a happy birthday, surprised me with a birthday treat, and had everyone in the restaurant sing to me at the end of my meal.

I placed an order online and when I got there, my food was not ready (which is fine) however, I went inside to get an estimate on how much longer it would take. The guy at the front could only tell me “I don’t know, we are pretty backed up”. Which is fine so I went back to my car to wait for my curbside order. About 20 minutes later my food came out COLD and not well prepared. My drinks were wrong and flat. This is the worst experience I have had with this location and will not go back.

Lis was our server and she is very rude. Another girl put a highchair right behind my sisters chair so when she went to get up she would run into it. I didn’t eat anything my son wanted to come here. Never AGAIN.

We ordered the BLT and Split Decision. I rate the BLT as poor. The bread was not toasted well and the lettuce and tomato were terrible. The split decision was a lot of food as shown in the picture in this review. Overall good breakfast. Our waitress was attentive. In closing, we were seated near the back side of the restaurant and it had a strong musty odor similar to an old wet mop.

Update: 01/08/2025 I was assigned another delivery here. It was like night and day. There was a hostess present and they immediately greeted me and handed me the delivery. Old review 01/02/2025 Doordash driver review: there was no employees that greeted me or anything or were even in the area of the entrance for at least 30 minutes up on my arrival. Waited 30 minutes to an hour for food for a customer when there was a full window of food made. It seems like they are short-staffed

Waited 10 minutes to get seated with no one in front of us. Then waited another 10 minutes after being seated before we left. No servers showed up to even get us drinks
My husband and I were picking up a doordash order from here and it took forever to get someone to come up and help and it was not busy at all and in the middle of the day. Finally someone came up and we said we had a doordash but nobody asked for the name and then left, after awhile longer waiting another person came up and asked for the name and said someone else had picked it up. Therefore they gave it to someone else without asking for the name. In the end we finally were able to get them to remake it after an hour of waiting. And the person that was trying to receive the order was waiting about 2+ hours for their order.

If I could rate this 0 star, I would. I will never go back. The staff are rude. The waitress was terrible. All around awful!!!! The pancakes were flat and taste was not good. There are better places to eat in Jacksonville that this IHOP Western blvd. by the mall.

Horrible place to eat. Lady at the front skipped over my name and let 2 parties ahead of me. Then acted dumb when confronted about it. Eventually we got seated and it took about 40 minutes to get our food. But other parties who sat after us got their stuff well before us. Server came around once to check on us and couldn’t even bring the napkins I asked for. Earned herself a whopping $0 tip!
