Logan's Roadhouse in Jacksonville, North Carolina, is the kind of spot that makes you loosen your belt and smile the whole ride home! The restaurant was spotless (seriously, I could’ve eaten peanuts off the floor—but thankfully they served them at the table instead). The service? Absolute perfection—our server was so attentive I started wondering if they had psychic powers, always appearing at the exact moment we needed something. And the food? Cooked so perfectly it felt like the chef had my taste buds on speed dial. Juicy steaks, sizzling sides, and flavors that made me want to high-five the cook!
Without a doubt, I’ll be back—probably sooner than my diet would prefer. Logan’s isn’t just a meal, it’s a reason to celebrate dinner itself.

So wwe ate dinner here. My wife ordered the Brewskie onion sirloin. I had an old fashioned cheeseburger with an additional patty. My brother-in-law had the 20oz bone-in ribeye. We also had an order of cheese sticks as an appetizer. So there were a few problems with our food. The first being the appetizer came out but the honey mustard had spilled out in the tray coating nearly all of the cheese sticks. Then came the problems with my wife's meal. She ordered her sirloin medium-rare it came out black and blue. My brother-in-law's steak was ordered medium and it came out in between medium and medium-rare. My wife's steak was sent back and the recook came back. It was the same steak but this time over cooked it qas medium on one side and medium well on the side my qife cut jnto thw first time. The manager Roy said he thought they had used a new steak but they had not and he recooked it himself. All this time our waitress Brittany was stupendous. We have had her once before and she was just as good this time. The manager Roy really took care of us. Not only did he compt my wife's steak. He also took care of a portion of my burger since half of it sat there until my wife's food came out correctly. The burger bun had become soggy so he also brought me out another bun that had been cut in half to be used. Sadly after having eatennhalf my burger and then waiting nearly 20 minutes for my wife's food I no longer felt hungry. The atmosphere was up beat and people seemed to be having fun. So over all if I could give a 4.75 I would but since I cannot I am giving a 4. While we enjoyed most of our experience here the problems with the food keep myself from giving a solid 5. Maybe on our next visit it will be a 5.

Upon being seated at this restaurant, i was served ice cold water and hot fresh rolls before placing my order. The sweet potato was good, the chicken was fresh however the steak was sent back a few times to be redone personally by the manager which I appreciate the care taken for my order place today.

The potatoes and salads and rib app were good, our waitress was awesome. I ordered the Logan, med rare, came out well done on the edges and blue in the middle. Husband ordered the porterhouse. It came out and immediately smelled it, rotten. I mean awful, we sent it back. Waitress offered to remake, we declined because it literally made us nauseous. The cook HAD to have smelled that steak when it hit the grill. We wanted to try somewhere we don't usually go. Logans will not be another stop for us.

Last night my wife and I started off at a different restaurant. As soon as we walked in the door we immediately turned around with disappointment and went to Logan’s Roadhouse instead. Once we walked in the door we were immediately greeted by the hostess and sat up by the bar. Our bartender Jalyn did a phenomenal job making our drinks and was very attentive. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. Jalyn and the rest of the employees were extremely welcoming. Usually when my wife and I go out to eat the service is bleh but this time was amazing considering how our night initially started. Thank you Jalyn and the rest of the Logans crew on making a good turn around for our night. We’ll definitely return.

BUT i cannot stand the foul smell of old rank pot smoke that is coming of peoples bodies and is embedded in their clothes. It's just as bad as severe an body odor or an unbathed unhygienic peraon. Our server absolutely reeked of it and It put me off my lunch. I'm sure management already knows (at least they should) so im not gonna call out names, but they really need to address it.

My wife had a salad with chicken stripe. She said her salad was good. They are large, so she got a tray to take home and put half of the salad and chicken strips in that before putting the salad dressing on. I had fried shrimp. The shrimp were cooked well, and they tasted great. Our server was very nice. Overall, I had a great experience.
