"Don't judge a book by its cover" .. Great service, great food. Beautiful view! The river, water, boats and locals, the greenery and the PAROT! How cool. Dog friendly! They even have a dog menu! They also offer cruises. Will return!

4 1/2 ! I enjoyed my salad so much that I returned two days later with my sister. She thoroughly enjoyed her soft shell crab sandwich. He was a little bit hard to talk because the talking at the bar was quite loud. Other than that- excellent.

I had a great time. I had the grilled tuna. It was delicious. I wanted a loaded potato but whole potatoes were not on the menu. The only problem was, we wanted to dine outside but there were no tables ready. So we decided to sit at the bar and wait. The hostess gave our table to another family. I asked him" did you forget we were waiting"? We eventually got a table outside. I enjoyed being able to view the water while we dined.Great place, decent prices.

Love this place❣️ It reminds me of Key West. An eclectic charm with an established presence. This place ain't goin' nowhere. Good food, nice people, a full bar with outdoor waterfront seating. My only complaint is our waitress was inattentive. We had to go to the bar to refill drinks and then hunt her down for the check. And it wasn't busy. It wouldn't suit high-maintenance type people.
The exterior was almost enough to turn us away, but we decided to believe the high star rating. The main room inside was in better shape, and nicely decorated—loved the bar chairs. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced—there is a little bit of everything. We had a hard time deciding! The food was average. We had a fried and a broiled seafood platter that were good. The crab melt was decent. Our daughter had the chicken and pasta with marinara and the sauce was not great. She ended up mostly eating the chicken. The service was great—our waitress was very nice and helpful. The bathrooms I would avoid—water on the floors, bad smelling and a mysterious jelly like substance under the toilets. We went into the banquet room to see the parrot which our daughter loved, the excrement all over the floor wasn’t exactly appealing in a restaurant setting though. Honestly, I wish we hadn’t left the main dining area, as the banquet room and bathrooms raised so many questions about cleanliness. If just considering price and food taste we would probably go back, but when factoring in the atmosphere, the lingering thought about cleanliness made me wonder if the kitchen was dirty… which ruined the enjoyment of the food. A little bit of exterior TLC and a bathroom overhaul could really make this a great place—especially because of the location on the water.

This place looks super rough from the highway and I very nearly gave it a pass. Fortunately, I let my curiosity win and found a gem in the rough!The inside and back deck are really cute and clean. The crab dip was sooooo good, especially the garlic bread that came with it. The French dip was also really good, with a flavorful au jus that was nearly a gravy. My waitress, Glendora, was super attentive and recommended the peanut butter pie for dessert, which was so good I didn't take a picture.JoJac the parrot lives on the back deck and is 32 years old. I enjoyed visiting with him.
