Moore's Olde Tyme Barbeque Chicken & Seafood

Visited Moore's on 02.26.2025 with family (New Bern, MLK location). Chose the Olde Tyme Chicken Sandwich combo. First bite was alright. Next bite had a large bone, which totally threw me off. Opened the sandwich and started to pick through the remainder of the half cut chicken breast and discovered more smaller bones. I was done! When you pay nearly $10 for a sandwich, you definitely don't expect it to have bones!! Absolutely disgusting!

Had been in Greenville and heard that Moore's was good. The bbq was ok, but nothing to write home about. The potato salad was good. Being that it was in eastern NC I would have thought someone would know how to cook collards. I can eat most collards but those went in the dumpster. When I told the little server they were nasty he just laughed. Will never grace your doors again. If someone wants to go there, it is fine. I will just stay in the car til they finish eating.

I ordered an online pickup and the order was grossly inaccurate. Very disappointed

This was not the type of Carolina BBQ I was expecting. I ordered chicken and pork plate to find that the chicken was fried and not BBQ. ?. Clearly designate on the menu that chicken is fried.

Moores really did a great job catering my sister's birthday party. A big shout-out goes to Sierra and Tiffany for a job well done. They wer wondweful.

I moved to Jacksonville 2 years ago. At that time, Moore's was one of my favorite places to eat. But over time, their quality has dropped and now they are very inconsistent. One day it may be fine and the next day you're served food that's old, dry, or uneatable. I can only hope they fix whatever internal issues they're having and get back to cooking great food.

I ordered a chicken thigh. I received the bottom half of a chicken wing. And it had two hairs in it. Extremely dissatisfied

I usually don’t leave food reviews but the fried chicken tenders were horrible literally the driest thing ever. Save your time and money

The food was flavorful. Hush puppies was cooked a bit hard. Overall a good first experience ?
