I had been a loyal customer at this restaurant for years. They delivered my order, no matter which I chose for the night in a timely manner. The food was always hot and delicious. The driver's went out of their way to ensure everything was above expectations.
I called one night shortly after it was sold to the new owner. At first I thought he was new but soon learned the truth. I was appalled how the kid treated me on the phone and finally decided to go to another place for dinner.
I wish the new owner well but I'll never go back. Sorry but they've lost a loyal customer due to lack of customer service and extreme attitudes.

Less than Sub-Par, with prices that might have some unsuspecting people thinking it's Authentic and the quality with other close area pizza parlors and New York City Pizzerias, NOT!
The Bottom Line... the crust is flavorless, the pizza sauce started to gave me bad heartburn almost immediately! Although, to be honest, My heartburn probably started immediately after paying almost $20 for a SMALL with three, non-premium toppings and NO Extras of the three toppings(like extra cheese, etc...) for TAKEOUT!
My two biggest regrets in visiting this establishment,(which was the first time... btw)is... FIRST: Not going to Domino's next door for HALF the price, a little better tasting and more consistent quality. SECOND: I only brought a $20 bill, not expecting it to cost so much more than the quoted price. In which case, I couldn't leave my normal two or three dollar Tipp to the counter and wait staff. Cause you know, I'm a softy like that, taking care of the employees whom I'm sure are under paid and unnecessarily stressed from from the big mouth, falsely intimidating "people" that so called, run the place.
NOW knowing by the severe lack of quality and Pricing practices of what the owner calls "FOOD" to the areas hard working people and countless other Armed Forces Personnel serving our Country, providing Jacksonville with a thriving business economy, I'm Pretty sure the Owner pays the staff just as bad as the low grade dog "food" he charges Filet Mignon Prices for!
So, for all you who Owner/Operators and what you haven't done, don't do or should be doing for the above mentioned people, I say to you Owner/Proprietor... SHAME ON YOU, IN A BIG WAY!
I Sincerely feel Bad for your Certainly TEMPORARY employees, UNSUSPECTING NEW CUSTOMERS, visitors, new residents and the countless other Armed Forces Personnel who have fallen VICTIM.
Victims of misrepresented pricing, quoted when placing an order, to picking up the exorbitantly Over Priced TRASH we ordered a half hour earlier, only to be shocked with the extreme price differences and lowest quality possible for the money. They don't need a gun!
One positive note about this "owner/operator" and other businesses like this... There Fine examples of how they could be making a Real and Tangible Difference in this World!
By motivating people to better themselves by Way of Furthering their education or teaching others what they've learned, on how to Differ. Avoiding businesses, owners, people and places that operate like this by the examples that they've learned.
In other words, a Quint Essential Example of HOW NOT TO BE!
FYI: New York Pizzeria just responded... Three years later. Way to be on top of things. Just drives home my points even further. smh

Well, I only been going here for at least 15 20 years,in that time I can't say I've never had that bad of a pizza, worst I've ever had from here,asked for Xtra cheese ,walked out decided to check, cause I didn't recognize any of the employees,didn't have Xtra cheese, went back in to get it corrected, now pizza going in a 2nd time came out hard as a rock with a dandruff amount of Xtra cheese, got home called to ask what happened, he tried giving me a scientific reason why he couldn't get it done right,they gotta do better or I'll take my business of 15+ years somewhere else

The food is good but the place is old and smells. Turn off for me. Needs an upgrade and fresh paint.

food is fire..and good prices..really all you can ask for and the employees are great people.

Place is amazing. Great food, The pizza slices are huuuuge. The spaghetti is amazing. Recommend heavy, easy 10 stars.

This IS NOT NEW YORK pizza Being from NYC THIS is FALSE soggy, no cheese pull the thinness is good but 6$ for 2 slices is wild

Site says it opens at 10am but at 10:30 the door is still locked.

Phenomenal. I haven't had a sandwich this good in years, maybe since I left NJ and NY. I tried the turkey club, it's served warm, and my mouth is watering for it RIGHT NOW. Will absolutely be back!

Kevin had taken my order. He is awesome. I could tell he usually makes the pizzas but they were busy and he stepped up to the register to take care of me. This is my first time here and he made an amazing first impression! Thanks Kevin!

The restaurant is clean and neat! You can tell they take pride in their restaurant. It is a pizzeria! The decor was New York! The pizza is made fresh when you order.
