Nice new clean place with really friendly staff and good food overall. The cheese curds are great, I'll be getting them regularly. The crinkle cut fries are really good too, and even better with chili and cheese. The onion rings are good, actual whole slices of onion in a moderately thick crunchy breading. The burgers are decent, nothing super special, but not bad at all. Good variety of food (fried chicken too, going to try that next time), this place is in our fast food rotation now!

My Brother, his girl and I all pulled up to this dope place, because we're tired of everything else. The people were amazing, and patient while we were decoding what to order. We pull up to the window, and I win mine and my brother's game to see who had to pay. My boy Armani Holmes, the most God-Tier homie and employee there makes our food, which was the best. This man is greatest employee of all time, and the food is amazing. I don't understand why some people hate it, but it is what it is.Jesse out! *Drops mic*

I've driven by this place a few dozen times and finally decided to give it a try. I read the reviews here first and gave it a go.I ordered a bbq pork sandwich and fries. The food was good. As fast food goes it was well worth the $6 and change for the combo.Like most of the people in Jacksonville I'm from somewhere else. I grew up eating pulled pork with a sweet bbq sauce so I was more than happy to have this bbq pork sandwich. Was it 5 star Michelin worth? No. Was it better than my grandma use to make? No. It, however, was a nice change from vinegar pulled pork. It just needed slaw or pickles and I'll ask for those next time.Oh, and something else that was nice: the crinkle fries were fresh and cooked perfectly.Give them a try.

Local to Jacksonville so have seen plenty come and go. This location used to be Captain Ds, it remained vacant for a couple years and now this restaurant popped up and never heard of it so wanted to try it out. Turns out it's a small northern USA fast food chain. I will start of with saying I went here 3 times and tried 3 different things before I wrote this review. The inside is new and revamped, so it's pretty clean for you germaphobes reading. Had the penguin mascot on everything which kinda seemed like the 90s when everyone used to have some sort of mascot for their resturant. The staff all 3 times were very very friendly, and made sure they were clean and helpful. The menu has ton of stuff. Burgers, those flat fried pork tenderloin sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, chicken bone in and tenders etc. Every thing is affordable. And there is also a special for the day everyday. The first time I got the Chicken sandwich special with fries. Bun was really good. Chicken was an actual chicken breast, but didnt fill up the bun and lacked a little flavor. It was good, not great. About what youd expect from a fast food chain. They have crinkle fries, which were just ok as well. Another Min in the frier for a better crisp and a little extra salt would've done wonders. Next trip I just got a Tenderloin sandwich. Once again good not great. I liked it better than the chicken sandwhich though. Was very flat and crispy. You can get them with white gravy or slaw on them. Next trip I got a double cheeseburger with onion rings. Burger was good. Flavor reminded me somewhere between Sonic and McDonalds flat top style burger. Was a good quality. Onion rings were also real onions and pretty good. Had a flaky batter. So overall, its another fast food joint with slightly higher quality than McDonald's, and great customer service, and affordable prices. They do charge 25 cents for refills, that may be the yankee in them!!! but I will return to try other menu items.

Tried this place for lunch and next time I will adjust my toppings. Tenderloin sandwich was OK, but overshadowed by the sweet pickle coleslaw . If you like sweet pickles relish and or coleslaw then you would probably like it, but I did not as I prefer dill pickles. Crinkle cut Fries were good

I went through the drive thru, great customer service. The BBQ sauce & chicken is amazing . The fries were pretty good but the burger wasn’t great. I’d definitely go back for the chicken though.

Excellent food and very friendly staff! Very clean, casual, and comfortable atmosphere. Their chicken, fish, and crinkle cut fries are excellent, but my two favorites are the Big Wally burger and the breaded tenderloin sandwich (topped with shredded cabbage, Wally sauce, and American cheese slice!Yes, this is fast food, but it is tastier and fresher than most national chain burger joints. Prices are slightly higher than some other well known fast food places, but not by much and so worth the little extra cost. I highly recommend this Penguin Point location!

The food tasted processed. We went as a group and 3 out of 5 of us got their food and were almost finished with their food before the others got there food. We just weren't impressed with this restaurant.

I had not eaten here in a long time & I guess I had forgotten how delicious the food was... It was great... And their fries are the best, hands down! If you like your BBQ a little on the sweet side, like I do, the BBQ sandwich is one of the best around.

we got burgers, fries and onion rings. the buns are very large and the patty’s are pretty small. definitely recommend getting a double. the patty’s don’t have any flavor (seasoning or that charred taste). we asked to get dipping sauce at the window for the onion rings and we were told it would be 59¢ up-charge. the staff was nice though. all in all we spent a little over $15 for two burger combos and if we come back, we’ll try the chicken because the burgers are definitely not worth the price.

Best fast food in town. A favorite place to a lot of locals. Great chicken. Better than KFC. Burgers are made very good. Ingredients they use are very good as well. Anything, I mean anything is good to order. I use Wally sauce for my fries. Feels nostalgic inside and that's the way people like it.Recommended..!!

Waited for 30 minutes for them to drop a fresh batch of chicken, went inside to see if it was done and they told me they JUST NOW were dropping it. Manager named "Sam" gave me a refund of 12.50 for the chicken only. First time coming not sure if I will check me back...

Decided to try something new by going here only to reenact the hair pie scene from family guy. I mean 4 dollars for a double cheeseburger with military discount is alright but it didn't come with anything else but 1 pickle. If there was sauce it was sucked up by the dry meat. At the very least I can say the workers were nice. But hair nets people! Now excuse me while I finish my hair burger

This restaurant is from my home state of Indiana. Food was delicious and definitely reminded me of home!
