Gyro was absolutely stuffed with meat.. A little charred but still really good... Wife devoured the Greek salad so gonna say that was great as well.. Young lady working the counter was very helpful and friendly.. Definitely will be back..

I work for a company called The Seals and came in here one day to put an estimate together for refrigeration gaskets. Ended up getting lunch while I was here. Long story short, I've lived in Jacksonville for about a month now and this is absolutely my favorite place to eat! Try the steak and cheese wrap with the cherry spice sauce. It will keep you coming back! Excellent food and great guys who run it/ work at it.

Generally speaking the food is good. But the portions of the plates are lacking in the Jacksonville location compared to the others.In my first picture you see a Gyro plate from the Jacksonville location. There isn't even enough lettuce and greens to prevent you from seeing the bottom of the container. There is also very little protein. Lettuce and greens are low cost fillers and should at the very least provide a decent portion but they dont.In the second picture you see a Gyro plate from a Wilmington location. It's noticeably fuller.I've started avoiding the Jacksonville location because of this.

Kid-friendliness: It was very welcoming when i walked in, I got greeted and was helped immediately. The service and staff are always amazing. I will definitely recommend Pẽno.
Friendly service and generous portions. I got the veggie falafel wrap with fries. Fries were nicely seasoned and I didn’t need to add anything and there must have been 5 to 6 falafel stuffed into the wrap. The hummus in the wrap absolutely sang with flavour. And I was very happy to see the vegan menu tapped to the back of the till. I quite enjoyed my wrap and would definitely go back for another.

The Greek salad was the bomb. Also the Jalapeño cilantro hummus was the best I've ever had since it's taste was complex- the hummus flavor starts then cilantro kicks in and finally you are left with a little kick to remind you of the greatness you just consumed.
