I was one of the first to give a review when they reopen. The staff was friendly. You felt comfortable there. The prices were reasonable. but now the service is horrible. The staff is unfriendly. They don't communicate. So I just stop going there for awhile. I used to go there on Mondays and Wednesdays like clockwork. I decided to give them another try. I ordered a oyster basket and one draft beer (Miller Lite) which was flat as a pancake. i was not given a receipt, but I was told my price was $26.19. Wow! I asked why some much. I was then told that Shuckin Shack had increased their prices. Cajun Seafood has a shrimp and oyster combo for just $12.99 and a oyster basket for $6.99. I will not be going to Shuckin Shack anytime soon, maybe not again. There are too many seafood restaurants in Jacksonville, for Shuckin Shack to charge that much. Just my opinion. Cheers 😎

I paid $70 to devein my own shrimp, my wife and I went out for lunch and we decided to get the seafood Trio, fried pickles, and a pound of Steamed shrimp. When we received our food, I immediately noticed that the fried shrimp was deveined and cooked, but the steamed shrimp was not. No one wants to eat poop, but nevertheless, this restaurant serves it.

Fantastic service, cold beer, and delicious food! Josh was incredible. He treated us like we were old friends and provided great suggestions from the menu as it was our first time there. The patio seating was great which was perfect since we love bringing our good boy along whenever we can. 10/10 will eat here again! ???

Always a quick and easy dine in restaurant to eat at with my hubby and baby! Sarah was our server and bartender and her recommendations were on point! Always such a clean environment and quick service. Great food! The greggah is priced well and tastes amazing! Easily a go to spot for our family ?

Finally gave Shuckin Shack a try tonight after driving by so many times. The happy hour deal for you-shuck steamed oysters is definitely worth it! I will say, the portion size for the alfredo was a little off for the price, and the kids meals looked a little lackluster.. but all the food was really good and we enjoyed it! Our server seemed new, but was friendly and attentive. Wed def come back for happy hour again.

Coming in all the way from Raleigh & Maryland , From the moment we walked in Trace’s energy was everything he was very knowledgeable about every item on the menu even the chalkboard specials. The food came out on time and hot and fresh , there wasn’t a wait to be seated or anything. He even acknowledged our 5 little girls we had with us. He was very attentive. We wish him all the luck in all he has to come with his new endeavors.

So glad I decided to check this place out for dinner. I had some grilled oysters and their version of surf and turf (seafood and wings instead of steak). The whole meal was excellent and the style of the place was really cool. Looking forward to eating here again!

What an awesome place
Our dinners were perfectly prepared. The drinks were awesome. I highly recommend you stop by an have lunch or dinner or maybe just a drink.
