Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

We stopped here on a road trip to charge our Tesla. The food was surprisingly good, especially the barbecue sandwich. The staff was very friendly and bussed the tables, asked if they could refill drinks, etc. I would definitely eat here again!

This location has THE WORST customer service, period. Rude attitudes at the drive-thru like customers are a burden, food always cold, and the potato salad was so salty it was straight inedible. Clearly nobody is tasting the food or giving a damn about quality.

This place desperately needs new management, because whatever is happening right now is unacceptable. I won’t be back.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and go to the Yopp Rd. location instead — food is always fresh, customer service is A1, and they actually treat you like they want your business.

I grew up eating Smithfield's, I also worked for the company for 10 years before it was franchised. The sandwiches I purchased and was given last night were not the Smithfield's quality they have always been. The bun was cheap, no bounce or breading then they were pretty stingy with the slaw and BBQ. Paying that much for an NC staple I expected more when I was really craving it and looking forward to it. It will definitely be a while before I come back.

Coleslaw was not very good... Canes coleslaw is much better. Potato salad was ok... bar-b-q brisket, i guess, looked like it came out of a frozen dinner box. Chicken tenders were mid. I don't know these fast food restaurants are all too worried about saving money on everything that the quality of the food is terrible. The service was really good. Food was brought to table and I was offered sauces. They came to my table and refilled my drink.

Best chicken out of all the chains! We need to get one in Ohio! Whoever is in charge of this place should reach out to me and we should plan for the first Smithfield chicken and barbecue in Ohio!

Came in to have an enjoyable lunch and was treated very rudely and disrespectfully by manger Sarah. was not expecting this type of service. Will not be dining here for a while
