Nice friendly staff, clean inside, and we had the combo plates. There was BBQ, Chicken, hushpuppies, and two sides. It was too much for us to eat, so we had enough for lunch the next day. Everything tasted great.
Serviced at the drive thru. Food was presented hot and service was quick. Chicken was a bit salty but it was good. Hush puppies was good as usual. I was given any honey butter. I guess you have to ask for it now

We have been through MANY drive-thru windows at various food restaurants in Jacksonville, NC on a weekly basis, but there is one restaurant that STANDS OUT ABOVE ALL THE OTHERS mainly because of 2 staff members that have ALWAYS provided us with EXCEPTIONAL WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE with radiant smiles and welcoming spirits at Smithfield's Chicken & BBQ on Gum Branch Rd....HATS OFF to Alaina (aka Ally) and Heather!! They are to be commended for a JOB WELL DONE! ? ??
