We were originally going to another restaurant, but a last minute request brought us here. And I'm happy it did. The waitress, from the time we sat down until we left, was awesome. Triple cheeseburger is the bomb for $4. Shakes are good but not up to the level of an actual ice cream shop. Fries are skinny but flavorful. Chili is pretty decent believe it or not.
On the first visit to this Steak n' Shake we we're impressed with our order. The food was very tasty. I had a Frisco melt. The bread was buttery and toasted to perfection. The sauce and cheese went well with the juicy patties. Even the fries were fresh. This was on a somewhat busy Saturday evening.
