We had heard great things about milk road, so we gave it a try since our usual place was closed for the day.
$18 for two drinks and they were awful. We couldn’t even finish them.

Ok, not only is the coffee amazing, but I just realized that I’ve been sleeping on their BAGELS this entire time!! As a recovering New Yorker, these are the best I’ve had in Eastern NC so far. Currently on cloud 9 with my bagel and cold brew. Had to come here and leave this review. Don’t be me. Don’t sleep on the bagel.

Milk Road Coffee has been my go to for years now! The beans are roasted in house and all the pastries and syrups are also made in house with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible! The iced vanilla latte or a cortado if you like your drinks hot is highly recommended! Grab a Liege waffle for a snack as well!!

This place is top-notch! Sometimes you get the cute, modern coffee shop vibe, but without the good coffee. This place had it all. Delicious coffee! I got an iced latte with almond milk and almond joy flavoring! 10/10! This is my new go-to!

I'm all about supporting local business and especially loving a good relaxing coffee shop. But gosh I was so disappointed. Parking lot was empty on a Saturday, 9:30am, I came in I hadn't been in a few months they are sort of in a hard to stop for spot near Raintree neighborhoodFirst impressions no music playing, 2 workers who said hey when I came in but didn't really care I was there. I was craving a waffle the way they make them is unique, sugar crystals on top I do recommend. But when I saw the prices literally on everything increase I didn't want to order multiple drinks. $5.80 for 1 pastry! ? not to mention I'd spend that for a medium coffee drink.Dead plants all around and a bunch of small businesses stuff just scattered. Won't be coming back.

The caramel iced coffee I had was the best coffee I've had in a long time. Having moved from WA state that is saying a lot since they have so many local coffee places there. The staff was very nice and helped me pick my coffee and listened to what I wanted in a drink. I don't like overly sweetened coffee and this was exactly the level of sweetness I was looking for. I appreciated the military friendly atmosphere and the building itself is very unique and makes for a more local experience and out of the normal. I really enjoyed this coffee shop and will definitely return again very soon.

I used to LOVE this place. Lately, however, I’ve been left disappointed. I think I’ve had about three “let me give it one more chance” thoughts, and it has not redeemed itself. I’ll be moving soon, so I went today as a last hurrah. My cortado (which has been one of my favs from MR) tasted burnt/bitter. The spanakopita was pleasantly stuffed with cheesy goodness, but it was missing that hint of lemon that usually makes it top notch. Also, I waited quite a bit for that and my muffin. The chocolate chip muffins were nearly, if not, burnt today. Lastly, and I know I’m knit picking at this point, the displays weren’t as neat as normal and Valentine decor is still up.

We loved it, our first time and everything was amazing ♥️ Iced Vanilla Coffee and a Caramel Iced Latte with the perfect amount of brown sugar, both so good. The workers were so sweet and the atmosphere was so comfortable! We got an everything bagel and a muffin that my daughter LOVED. The prices are comparable to most coffee spots around but tastes so much better! We will definitely be making this our new coffee spot! ☕️♥️
