Visited Full Moon for lunch today. Somewhat crowded but not packed. Service was slow - ordered crab bisque and 6 Malpaque Oysters at $3 each. Yuengling draft arrived swiftly.
20 minutes in and had to ask about the cup of soup. 30 minutes in - no oysters although a tray had been shucked and placed three seats down from me.
Waitress finally said these are your oysters. I said no one presented them to me and there is not an oyster fork, cocktail sauce etc. Then found a hair...read full review
Great food , great service!!!!!! Very clean!!!!!
Our group of 12 came in after golfing at Jamestown Park, expecting a good meal and some hospitality. Instead, we encountered one of the most unprofessional servers we have ever dealt with.
Our server, Ally/Allie, greeted us with a dismissive attitude and set the tone for what became an embarrassing scene for the restaurant. When one member of our party mentioned he wasn’t ordering because he had to leave for a flight, Ally snatched all the menus away and said, “So...read full review

The Full Moon Oyster Bar is a cozy spot that makes guests feel at home. The Po Boys, with delicious shrimp and oyster options, are a highlight. The team shucking oysters consistently delivers, and the beer selection is impressive. While parking is limited, the atmosphere is lively, and the service is generally good. The menu is mostly excellent, with some exceptions, and the food is always great. Guests enjoy great cocktails, good service, tasty food, and a welcoming environment. The char-grilled oysters and scallops are highly addictive, and the mixed drinks are phenomenal. The shucked oysters are fresh and tasty, with five varieties available. The deviled eggs may not be worth it, but the oysters, slaw, and potatoes are delicious, and the Bloody Mary is amazing. The fried platter can be greasy, with oysters fried to death and fish that’s overly oily, but the shrimp is good. Some dishes may lack seasoning, but the Jamaican me crazy and steak n shrimp dishes are great. The oysters, potatoes, slaw, and blackened fish are gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. Visitors report enjoying the spicy oyster challenge, though it can be tough and leave a lingering heat. Overall, the food is highly praised, and many plan to return—not for the challenge, but to enjoy the regular menu. The restaurant stands out as a top choice for seafood, especially after experiences at other places, with some customers calling it the best.
