Very nice Winery, great atmosphere, nice selection of wines and they are dog friendly! Nice place to visit and have a flight or glass of wine. They also have local beers
Did a tasting at the Duck location in the Cotton Gin. Nikki, our tasting guide, was wonderful and well informed about all of the wines. The wines themselves were delicious… didn’t know NC had such high quality wine!
i only been there once for line dancing are you guys pet friendly other then service dogs?? i dont want to take my dogs and them not be allowed in and ur number on the website doesnt work 😔
We did a complimentary wine tasting with Nikki at the Cotton Gin in Duck. She was phenomenal! So kind, so funny, and so informative. I didn’t plan on buying anything, but Nikki totally made such great cases for all the bottles, I couldn’t leave empty handed. She is a wonderful person & sommelier & I hope she is still there next year:)!
The ones were delicious and I’m a wine snob!
Decent wine and tasting process. Staff behind the counter are rude. Absolutely no patience for questions or conversation just buy or get out. I wish they were a little nicer. Our group bought 8 bottles of wine. Take it for what is worth, this is unfiltered feedback
Surprised by the quality of wines!
While the wines were decent, the service was pretty bad.
We went in the evening for live music.
This was our 1st trip out and we attempted to look at the menu, but the staff was in a rush to push people through....there was one other couple getting beverages at the time.
The one thing that stands out the most is when I bought a bottle of wine to drink on property with my husband, they didn't want to give me a 2nd glass as that would mean they'd have to get another box of glasses dirty.
Great wine and thoroughly enjoyed "Acoustic Thursday"
Well, well, well! What a lovely visit. Feels like a home away from home. The location and comfort of this winery made our event that much more intimate. We went in celebration of Mother's Day and a birthday. I contacted Mr. John via email due to us being out of towners, and he responded quickly! He informed me about the wine tasting prices, allowed outside food, and told us about the outdoor picnic areas. We were able to have a nice set up at one of the tables outside in the front. It was very comfy with the rocking chairs and even though we went on a cloudy day, we enjoyed the breeze and had a great time.Thank you to the staff behind the bar! They had much knowledge on the wines and offered us a complimentary tasting that they were premiering along with our tasting. Also had free charcuterie food. Mr. John and the staffed welcomed us and not once did we feel rushed. And yes, we did catch some "Instagram worthy" photos in the vineyard. Definitely will visit again! Congrats to the Bride-to-Be!

My husband and I were visiting the area and stopped by Sanctuary Vineyards. The staff was wonderful. They have their tasting divided as reds, whites, sweet and their reserve. If you purchase a bottle from your tasting then your tasting is free. There are tables you can sit at or seating areas with comfortable chairs. There are also chairs outside. We had the reds and whites to try. There were a few that we liked. We have been to a lot of wineries and I would place this winery in the middle based on the taste of their wine. There is plenty of parking.
Everyone is really nice. Wine is great and the shop is very well laid out.
Absolutely love this place on the way down to obx!!
We went just looking for a Sunday afternoon excursion from the beach. Were very pleasantly surprised. All the wines we tasted (dry whites and reds) were awesome! The gentlemen who was working there was very cordial and informative. He even took us in the back to see the wine barrels and explained some about the wine-making process. We bought several bottles to go, and will definitely be back for more.
Gorgeous vineyard! Stunning grounds, beautiful tasting room and indoor space, fabulous wine, first-class staff. They offer all sorts of wonderful events year round, and the entire enterprise is extremely welcoming and inviting. It's a must-visit in the Outer Banks.
