China Palace Restaurant

My first visit to China Palace. I had the Chicken w broccoli lunch special with brown rice and an egg roll.

I really liked it very much. The best chicken w broccoli I’ve had in North Carolina since moving here 4 years ago.

The sauce was perfect. I tasted the ginger and garlic without being overwhelmed. It was not salty and the chicken wasn’t overcooked. The broccoli and carrots had a nice snap to them while still being cooked to satisfaction.

Being a transplant from New York, I value good pizza and Chinese food. I hold it to a high standard for both. China palace passed the test!

The hostess, Shelly, was very welcoming and pleasant. I will definitely eat here whenever I crave Chinese food! There’s a reason they’ve been open since 1986. Eating here transported me back to my local spot in NYC! Thank you for the experience!

Food expensive and sesame chicken dry and tough

Delicious sesame chicken and friendly service. Portions are really big!

This place is bar none the best!!!

My family and I have been eating at China Place since the day they opened. It is the best Chinese food we have ever eaten. We celebrate every birthday and special occasion at China Palace. With 35 plus years of sharing meals with dozens of family members and friends, it is still our favorite restaurant of all time. A big shout out to the new owner and staff who continues to make us feel like family with each wonderful meal!

We just moved to Kernersville, where we lived before finding a great Chinese restaurant was an impossibility.
We now found the place. This reminded us of our favorite place years ago but no longer is opened. We will not only be back but will definitely highly recommend it.

The first time I came here, I wasn’t a fan. Decided to try it again and was still not impressed. I ordered the chicken and broccoli through DoorDash and in the picture it shows that it comes with white rice, so naturally, I thought that it came with white rice. There were no options to choose what kind of rice you would like. It came with fried rice. When I called to ask why I didn’t get white rice they said “oh it comes with fried rice, idk why the picture shows that”. Never offered to remake it or fix it or anything.
Also, I feel their portion sizes are much smaller than other Chinese restaurants, especially for the price.
