I've been in before only to look around and pick up some charcuterie to go as gifts (BIG hits by the way!). I finally went in today so that I could sit down and enjoy the food myself. I was sat down right away, and my server was super friendly. The "Pesty Chicken" pizza was absolutely delicious as was the Reisling that I had with it. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially by the beautiful windows. While waiting for my food, I opened up a book and read in peace with some great music in the background. Can't wait to go back.

From the word go this little gem was delightful. We were greeted by the owner with a genuine and warm welcome. We were seated at a very comfortable table near the fireplace which was a bonus. Ginger, our server, treated all of us like old friends and answered our many questions with patience, kindness and a great sense of humor. Now the food - for $13 I had a roast beef sandwich with a wedge salad and glass of tea. You can't beat the price and the food was wonderful. I loved the horseradish on the sandwich. The menu offered a nice variety, all priced fairly.

My 3 friends and I have a monthly lunch. We like to check out new places. One of my fiends suggested Corks & Boards. At first, I'm thinking wine and charcuterie? But this place is more than that. Charcuterie is available, but they also offer sandwiches and soup. The setting is stunning in this historic 1880's home. They also host events and group gathering. Check out their website for upcoming events.

The ambience is nice because the restaurant is in a real 1880s home of a notable member of old Kernersville. Too bad the food is not good, and portions are chinsy. I ordered a pesto chicken pizza for $12 and there was NO chicken in it at all. Later on I saw a lady had ordered it and they made hers with a chicken chunks on each slice. Complained to the manager-she said that they used shredded chicken on mine. If there was, then it must have been two thin shreds. The small thin pizza was slathered in very salty salad dressing. The only thing you taste is the pesto and salty dressing. One time a chucaterie board was ordered for about 5-6 people that were expected to show up for a lecture. One small board was placed at the middle of the table with smallest 2 wedgedes of blue cheese and the smallest pieces of 2 cubes of beef and chicken. 3 grapes thrown in and 2 chips of peppermint bark. A few bland crackers and 2 small pitchforks were on the small board. How was this supposed to be enough for 5 people when it wasn't even enough for one? I kept expecting the waitress to come back with a refill but she never did and we were there for over 2 hours. The table they gave me for one the time I came in solo and ordered the pizza, was dusty and fingerprinted with smudges. I will never eat here again- it is a money trap where they give so little to separate you from your money!

We had my daughter's Sweet 16 party at this beautiful venue. The owner Patti was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was so kind and worked hard to make every detail perfect! The staff was so nice and professional and they took care of everything for us! They were amazing! The chocolate fountain and the spread that came with it was a hit! It is such a gorgeous venue and we will be back soon!

The gazebo and outside seating area was the perfect environment for a birthday celebration. Add in one fabulous mega charcuterie board, good wine and peach tea and the night was complete! Excellent service.

We had a lovely evening enjoying a board on the porch rocking chairs with live music. Loved both the white and red sangria and the board had a nice variety of items - would love more cheeses next time! Service was kind, friendly and attentive and we love that they have a water bowl for dogs. So happy that such a great business has taken over this historic house.

Our server ginger was incredible. The boards were all so good, and I loved the orange mimosa. They also just started selling pizzas and their pizza was amazing!! All around a great place and environment, will definitely be returning!
