I went for my lunch today! 12/19/24 2:30 pm! Approximately! And for me, bad luck, a hair got in my food. The boy was very kind to change my food! But I was left wondering why it was so fast! So I was very attentive to what was happening in the kitchen area! The cooking boys are all very well with their gloves, their caps and their hair up!! But there was a girl who had her hair down and she tied it up and let it down all the time. She was the waitress. Look how after doing all this she went inside to bring the plates of food to the tables! Without washing her hands and she was scratching her head and I didn't look at her washing her hands!! After a while I looked like the same girl! She entered the kitchen where the cooks were with her hair down, manipulating it with her hands! On the plates where they prepared other customers' food! He passed by that place twice and he didn't tie his hair and he didn't wash his hands either. I was about to tell him but my husband wouldn't let me! I work in restaurants and we have an area where we can't dress with our hair down!! That girl should keep her hair out of her food!! She has beautiful hair but believe me I ate with great disgust! I even took videos of the girl doing this and passing through the kitchen area with her hair down.

Food portions are just not up to par with other options out there anymore, had less maybe 8 tiny cubes of chicken on a $10 plate. Had even less shrimp on an $11 plate. I know prices on product is higher but it's just not what I consider a fulfilling meal anymore, and ordering sides of meat is so expensive it would cost more than just going somewhere with higher prices but better portions.

Hibachi of Japan on Union Cross is still my #1 for Japanese food in Kernersville.

I ordered hibachi filet with white rice on the side and was told they could not put the rice on the side. I looked at him very confused and left. It is not like it isn’t all made together and can’t be separated. Do better.

Unprofessional customer service. Ordered to go food at 8:40pm…arrived at 9:01pm to pick up order to see customers still in the restaurant. The young male at the register said he gave my food to kitchen staff and that they are closed. He also said the cook put the food back up. I asked, so you put back the food that customers don’t pick up? He said we are closed. I said it’s 9:01…he states it’s 9:03 in a condescending tone. Kernersville location.

The food was terrible no flavor and steak was like rubber, definitely not worth the price. White sauce did’nt even taste normal. Service wasn’t great, all the wait staff wanted to do was stare at us while we tried to eat and never asked did we want anything. Won’t be back.

The service was okay so I will give them two stars but the food was awful. My fiancé and I left everything and went back to work. The steak was not edible. I physically could not chew it. His shrimp was overdone and the rice was crunchy. Osaka from now on.

Went yesterday with a friend I asked for my rice to be put on the side they refused to put on the side. I then asked if it can be put in a box to go they refused to put in Togo. I then asked to please get a box to go when she brought the plate no box. Food was ok. Not coming back. How hard is it to put the rice on the side.
