Look I am not the biggest McDonald's fan but this location continues to impress me. My kids enjoy McDonald's and this location consistently has fresh food, and great quality. Not perfect but hey thank you for getting orders right. Many places can't seem to do that anymore. We will continue to come as long as the service and food remain consistent like they are. Many thanks to the staff here.

Dylan was our cashier, server, and food runner. That young man was amazing! He did circles around his teammates. I don't know what kind of background that he has but I'm sure that it was definitely instilled in him from his family. I would like to see more of that kind of action going on at McDonald's. Most places have become lazy, not caring about the food service or the customer. Dylan gave me a glimmer of hope!

I am a mocha frappe expert. Unfortunately, most people who make them are not. Since they changed the recipe twice in the last few years, I now have to order a shot of espresso and extra chocolate drizzle; which I pay extra for. Most days, they either forget the extra drizzle or do not mix it correctly, and it's very runny. It should be very cold and frozen, not big ice chunks. One day, I got one that was perfect. I was so happy. Most of the time, I get sub-par frappes but just accept close enough. This should not be this way, though, since I pay extra for both the espresso and the extra chocolate drizzle. When it's right, it's better than Starbucks, sheets, or other shops! That's why I let them keep trying. Someone needs to do training on making it right. It's so good when it's right!

This McDonald's on Jag Branch rd became my new go to since the McDonald's on heartland drive has gotten so bad. There's 2 Mexican women that manage the heartland drive store and they both are rude as HELL.. they barely understand English. They have an attitude if you bring your food to the counter if it's made wrong. After Tasha left, the place went down the tube's. She was the best manager they had. So I started going this one on jag branch. Well, one of the Mexican women was transferred over to this McDonald's and she's still rude as HELL. I don't see how corporate can hire and keep people like this in their restaurants. Also, they price gouge you. If you want to order water on the kiosk it will say out of order. But the water fountain works fine. So if you want water, you have to pay 1.49 ( fountain soda price) to get a cup for water. Heartland drive you can order it and it's like 15 cents for small, 20 for medium and 25 for large. McDonald's in Oak ridge, water is FREE!! Which is how it should be. The McDonald's on Heartland also charges extra if you want onions on the hamburgers that normally come with onions. Be careful with that McDonald's, they are thieves. Someone came in that McDonald's and just asked for a water cup.. the Mexican manager made them pay 20 cents in order to get a cup. Ridiculous!!! Dont get me wrong, i dont have anything against Mexicans, its just them 2 ladies. The only good McDonald's in kernersville is the one on main st. Other then that, I will drive to oak ridge. It's worth the drive if you really have a McDonald's craving. Corporate needs to make improvements. Actually, its probably corporate that needs changing. McDonald's definitely ain't what it used to be back in the 80s and 90s. Quality and service is gone.
I have problems with McDonald's giving me what I ordered. I always order a half sweet and half unsweetened large iced tea. The charge slip shows a half and half tea but invariably, even when we go to the next window and ask if it is half and half...it's not. This time I gave it back to them and they remade it correctly. There is nothing worse than pulling away and getting back on the highway and find out that you got the wrong thing. It's always hit and miss. This time it got corrected and they were very nice about it. Although there was no apology.

One of the best McDonald's I've been to.. except they don't sell water in the cup anymore! You can only purchase water in the bottle! I've only drink water and have been that way for years and I get that people lie for free cups but I asked them to give it to me from the back and the refused.. so that's the only thing for getting 5⭐️s
