My wife and I moved to Kernersville a year and a half ago and have eaten here probably 10x since and gotten food to go multiple times as well. We have never had bad service or any difference in the quality of the food and we love it. I can't say enough good things about this place and the owner and how it's run. We have our favorite Mexican restaurant once more.

The last time I came there was a cucaracha by the door after we paid for our check. That threw us off. With that being said the food was good. I got a huevos dish with homemade hot sauce. The margaritas were good also. It's been several months since I've been. Our food came fast.

I come to Palenque all the time and I have NEVER experienced the rudeness I did today. I sat down, ordered my food with a very nice gentleman. Then this other lady comes by and says “did you order the enchiladas” I said yes and she asked “with a side?” And I told her yes with beans and then she walks off. She comes back with that but as I told the gentleman my actual order she came back with cheese sauce on top which I said I didn’t want and I wanted a side of chopped tomatoes… simple right? Well she proceeded to give me and attitude and said “You didn’t say that” I told her I’m sorry I didn’t know I was giving you my whole order again” she didn’t inform me they were switching waiters.. at this point I just wanted to leave so I go up front to talk to the manager. I tell her my story and she has the nerve to say “well that doesn’t seem like a big of a deal”… Excuse me! It may not be to her but it was to me and as a manager you should have NEVER said that!! Unprofessional and I won’t be returning!

Second visit to this establishment. Both times had good food and very attentive staff who were very friendly and courteous! The place is crowded for a reason.Clean, quick and good, with lots of food options to choose from. Highly recommend coming here for your Mexican eats.
A hidden gem! I'm glad we discovered this hidden gem. They have great food and service with reasonable prices. We were a party of 3 with 4 drinks and our bill was right at $50. This restaurant is cute, spacious and clean. The food is well seasoned and has a bit of a grill taste to it. The Birria is definitely in my top picks for the best in the triad. I was surprised they had fried Cornish Hens on the menu and they had the right amount of flavor. This place is definitely worth the drive.

This is the best spot for Mexican food in Kernersville. They have a large seafood menu too. My Steak Ranchero was great, the beans oh wow I don't even eat beans..the beans are so good. You can taste the quality ingredients in the salsa. Don who?
