We've been to Prissy Polly's a few times and always had good food. This time, however, our dinners were pretty inferior. My husband and I both ordered the fried shrimp blue plate special. Each dinner should have had 16 shrimp, according to the description, but one had 13 and the other had 15. But the worst part was the shrimp itself. It wasn't really breaded so much as it was just lightly dusted in cornmeal and then fried. There was nothing crispy about these shrimp. There were gritty - like eating sand - and soggy with oil. Really disappointing, especially when the cost was over $30. We will go back again, but will definitely steer clear of the fried shrimp. We suggest you do the same!

Receipt: 486856 Haven’t been here since I was a kid so I decided to see if this place hits like it did before… especially their famous hush puppies. What went wrong was the following: *make your own combo plate was missing coleslaw & mash potatoes * catfish plate was missing french fries *missing the BBQ 1/4 pound sandwich.
Of course that was my dumb fault for not checking once I got it but after getting off from a long day at work just wanting to hurry and just head home to eat… you get the picture. Then again it shouldn’t be the case where the customer still has to check after the drive through order is made plus paying for that kind of price point. Overall the gentleman at the drive through had a great personality and the hush puppies were great!

Reminded me of Sunday gatherings at Grandma's when I was a child. There were people of all ages and live music we would refer to as picking and grinning taking place on a stage in the dining area. The food was delicious, fresh, and served by the friendliest folks in town. This little gem is a piece of small town culture in the outskirts of KVegas, and if you haven't given them a try....what are you waiting for....GO!

I started eating too fast and forgot to take pictures.
I got the meat and two sides plate with ribs added. Being this was my first time. I tried both meats and sauces. Lexington reminded me more of home; but both were good.
The ribs just slid off the bone and were tasty as well.
While the food was really good, the service spoke the show. They make you feel like family—in conversation, serving side and in service.
I’ll add this to the list for when I return.

Today I was craving bbq. I found this hidden gem! I’m so glad I decided to try them! There is not another bbq place I will be eating at when I’m in the area. The food was amazing compared to another local place! I will be back and I will absolutely tell my friends to try the food here!!
