Restaurant is closed for rennovations. Stopped by today, construction crews were working and place has been gutted.
We had reservations at 5pm this evening at your location, upon arrival with a lot of other people discovered your business was closed. This was very disappointing, please notify Open Table so they will stop making reservations for customers. Also, please update your status on Google so people don’t continue to think you’re open.
CLOSED The Prescott has been CLOSED since early February. It will re-open under a new name and new management soon. Please note this as Open Table is still accepting reservations and Google still has it listed as open.

We had reservations for four people New Year's Eve at 5:30pm. The staff was very friendly, seated us immediately. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive throughout the entire meal. Our appetizers, the bruschetta and the chicken wings were outstanding. I ordered the roasted chicken, my husband ordered risotto with scallops and both dishes we're beautifully presented, hot, and serve to us on a timely basis. The restaurant as you can imagine was full for New Year's eve, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, all the dishes being served to other guests looked very appealing. If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, the Prescott is the restaurant to choose in Kernersville.

Amazing food but permanently closed as of February 1.
I've been here a few times and would not recommend it. First, the food is just ok, service and atmosphere are average, also. Second, they don't follow their own hours of operation. One time I went during their posted hours of operation and the doors were locked, no one there. Just last night, I had reservations through OpenTable at 5:45 - we showed up and they were closed. Unfortunately, Kernersville doesn't have many "fine" dining options which is why I tried to give them another chance.

We went for our wedding anniversary we have been there several times before and it was amazing. Last night everything was so salty we had the dry rubbed wings to start and stuffed salmon with Thermidor sauce and the crispy fried pork chop with a mustard sauce. Everything looked great but man oh man it was SALTY SALTY SALTY. Not our best visit. 😞😕

Want to like this place and had good food and service in the past but last two times have been off for some reason. Previous visit food took way too long and we had to cancel order and settle for just the appetizer and leave. Not overly crowded either. Took that as a one off night but on our return they only had one offering of draft beer. All other taps empty . The burger is gone from the menu and they were out of Coke as well. Will not be back for awhile. Bartender and hostess were attentive but we were the only folks in entire restaurant.

I have visited Prescott in Kernersville several times, with my first visit being two or three years ago. Overall, my experiences have been mixed. Initially, everything was fine until we encountered unfriendly service from one of the waiters and a soup that tasted off, despite having enjoyed it on previous visits.
Recently, I decided to return because I love the ambiance of the restaurant—it reminds me of Europe. I fully understand that freshly prepared dishes take time, so the longer wait was not an issue. Our waitress was very attentive and kind, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything, which made the service pleasant and enjoyable. While there was a staff member speaking loudly in the kitchen, it didn’t bother us.
The food was delicious for the most part, except for the chicken, which was overcooked, tough, and lacking flavor. Upon bringing this to their attention, the staff offered a refund for the chicken, which we appreciated.
However, the most unsettling experience occurred after we had paid our bill and left. On the way home, I received a call from the restaurant stating that our bill hadn’t been paid. This was surprising and quite unpleasant, as we had indeed paid before leaving. After explaining that we had left cash, the staff member—likely the same person speaking loudly earlier—apologized and offered a free appetizer on our next visit, which was a kind gesture.
Despite the lovely atmosphere and some positive aspects of the service, these repeated issues suggest there may be challenges with staff management. At this time, I am hesitant about returning. Thank you.

The wait for food to come out of the kitchen was unacceptable. It look 90 minutes! Another couple got theirs to go as they did not want to wait. Another party left most of their food on the plate and did not even take it with them. I think they were having an issue in the kitchen. Appetizer came out quickly and it was delicious. Suddenly, we heard a loud noise like a door slamming and then nothing came out of the kitchen for another hour. When our entrees appeared, my risotto was so salty it was inedible. They offered me a free desert which I declined. The ended up comping the risotto. The server was pleasant but stretched thin.

Unforgettable Anniversary at The Prescott!
We celebrated our anniversary at The Prescott on a Tuesday night, and it was an absolutely magical experience! The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance, perfect for a special occasion. While it might be considered "fine dining," it felt approachable and comfortable, which we really appreciated.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the incredible service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly special. Since it was a slower night, the chef even went above and beyond by creating a customized 7-course tasting menu just for us! Each dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It showcased fresh, seasonal ingredients and the chef's incredible talent.
The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the exceptional quality of the food and service. We can't thank The Prescott enough for making our anniversary dinner so unforgettable. If you're looking for a romantic night out with amazing food and service, look no further! We will definitely be back for another special occasion soon.
Highly recommend!

Let me just say, I was disappointed my favorite meal was taken off the new menu but, the chef was able to still create it for me! That was a huge win!!! They either need to update the wine/cider menu or have what they have listed in there in stock & available. Especially, after asking to have Bold Rock ( cold & listed on the menu) for my hubby. How can it be cold if they don’t even have it. My salmon & his ribeye was superb but the duck was salty & the honeysuckle chicken was blah. We were celebrating a special Friendsgiving with close friends & they left unimpressed. When the bill arrived, we had to ask for the Wed. night discount on the drinks we had to resort to. Not sure this will be my “special” treat night place anymore. Kinda hit or miss.

My wife and I met friends for dinner on Nov 23. After reading several reviews about slow service and poor food quality, I was somewhat apprehensive driving to dinner. Let me say that either the reviews were wrong. Service was timely; drink orders and appetizer arrived within 10 minutes, entree in under 25 minutes and dessert in 10. The servers were very friendly and water glasses were always full. The food itself was delightful - meatloaf special (nice, tangy “ketchup”, well cooked), salmon entree and honeysuckle chicken. Lost in conversation, we stayed well past closing time without complaint.
