Catch 22 Seafood Restaurant

If you haven't tried Catch22 you have to try them, delucious, great service and a clean restaurant!

Our first time in Kinston and our first time at Catch 22. Lovely people and great food at very reasonable price. We loved the fried oysters ( cooked perfectly), the well seasoned fries, and the slaw that had sweet pickle relish in it that I didn’t anticipate liking, but did. Wish we lived closer!

I tell you one thing for sure first time I heard about this restaurant I heard nothing but good things. Second thing me and my two sisters went there to eat for my first time. Third thing and you can count that and take that to the bank sandpipers in La Grange has nothing on this restaurant. The prices is good the food service is good the atmosphere.. I would never want to eat at sandpipers no more! Hands up this is a good restaurant if you have not tried it please try it I can't wait for it to open up again .1the first plate there was spots combo with shrimps coleslaw and cornbread and there was to die for Lord have mercy. Out of all the seafood places on this end sandpipers had nothing on this restaurant, Kings have nothing on this restaurant, McCall's seafood and BBQ has nothing on this restaurant, Wilbert's BBQ has nothing on this restaurant, catch 22 I'm locked in with you. Keep up the good work the good hospitality the good service and the cleanest is very clean. I'd give you a rating between 1 and 10 I will give you a 10! I had to give you a score on cleanliness it will be 100%! On hospitality and service it would be 100%! Lord have mercy I can't wait for you to open up in the morning.

Good food nice people!

The food was perfect! A previous reviewer had commented on the salads being too thin and with too much pickle. That is exactly the way I like my salads!! I ordered a small two piece meal and the portions were more than enough. The people are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely be back when I visit Kinston again.

This is one of those quintesential eateries to prove your mature palate or not!! Top notch flavored grilled chicken quarter hands down, nicely cut slaw, balanced, seasoned and excellently cooked french fries, soft spongy corn muffin and plenty more menu items to indulge on our next drive to Kinston, NC!! What an experience thats hard to match anywhere.
FYI: A tall container of their house sauce to go is my best advice...you will regret it highly if not!!

Food was great. Best coleslaw I have had in years. Service was excellent. Highly recommend eating here.

The food and service was excellent. They accidentally put coleslaw on my boyfriend's sandwich when he asked them not to so I just scraped it off, but they came out realizing the mistake without us mentioning it and brought him another sandwich. it was very thoughtful. it's a very nice little restaurant and the shrimp had a very tasty breading and wasn't over cooked, which is a big deal at a seafood restaurant. My boyfriend only suggested it'd be nice if you could get the sandwich bun toasted. The banana pudding was delicious and so was the lemonade. I will be bringing my dad and nephew here.

I ate at catch 22 in Kinston today and it was amazing. Great menu, super nice owners. Had catfish, shrimp, fries, green beans. it was all delicious. Best green beans I've ever tried. 5 stars! check them out!

Food was amazing and the service was exceptional!! The overall experience was 10 out of 10!! Highly recommended!!

This was my first visit to this restaurant and it was positive. I plan to return when I am in the area. I also had the banana pudding. Very good.

Just popped in for an oyster plate and it was spectacular. Good to see they're now open Wednesday. That gives me another opportunity to stop when I'm in the area. Would be nice to see the closing hours later - even 7PM would help.
