Pretty decent Mexican restaurant in the middle of not much else. The taco shells were a bit too hard and the meat really didn’t have much to write home about. They were okay tacos - probably can’t expect too much out here.

Step aside Taco Tuesday—El Nuevo Tequila Mexican Restaurant in Kinston, NC, turns every day into a celebration with more flavor than a mariachi band at a jalapeño festival! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted like a long-lost cousin returning from a tortilla pilgrimage. The service? Faster than a speeding queso dip disappearing at a family dinner.

Good looking place and good service. But the food did not live up to the place. Pepe pig on the TV was odd for this type of place. Food seemed like it was rushed and under seasoned.
