Home Team Burgers is a hidden gem in downtown Kinston, known for its excellent smash burgers. The burger is seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and features larger patties than the buns. The menu is simple, with top-notch shoestring fries. The atmosphere includes jam band music and Widespread Panic posters on the walls. Many say their smash burger is the best they’ve ever had, especially the double onion patty with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapeño, and mayo.
