Really good food! We met friends half way between our house and Raleigh at this place.... My husband had the fried shrimp and french fries. He said it was very good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend and I shared the Rangoon, eggrolls, onion rings, and grilled shrimp and everything was awesome.. her husband had the catfish and french fries and it was a very good serving size and he said it was very good!!!! The owners were very accommodating, letting us sit and chat for over an hour!!! if it was closer we would definitely go back because I would really want to try their Boils!!!! Resource several people get them, and they were looking and smelling very good!!!!

The seafood boil was so good and a great price for Sunday 23.99. Great hospitality and a Pleasant atmosphere. They were very friendly, and it was my first time eating there. I’m from South Carolina and every trip there I’ll be going there to eat with my boyfriend.

Great place. Everything is made fresh to order, you may need to wait a few minutes but it’s so worth it.
The seafood that I had just didn't have any season on it. The fish just tasted nasty. The only thing that was season was the shrimps and fries. I will not be going back to that establishment anymore.
The food is great. The seafood is fresh the atmosphere is laid back and the staff is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone in the Kinston area.Vegetarian options: Fresh and delicious is all that needs to be said.Kid-friendliness: The staff makes sure that the kids are well taken care of and attentive to the kids dietary needs and are will to tweak the menu according.

Firstly, I eat at this fine establishment at least four times a week. I always call ahead so that it will be ready when I arrive. I typically get the grilled catfish along with the garlic butter boiled eggs, and garlic butter corn. It is always cooked to perfection. I would also recommend the salmon and wontons - the best in Kinston. The salmon was not offered on the menu nor was the shrimp chips (an appetizer) and they went above and beyond to add it to the menu. I wanted to purchase gift cards and they did not offer that either, and, to my surprise, a presto, they offered that as well. Talk about customer service!! The owners/staff are a breath of fresh air. They are congenial and genuine, and they always take the time to ask me how I am doing that day. My family supports this business as well and they even ask about them if they have not seen them in a while. With that, I highly recommend Ocean Bay Seafood for their stellar food, superb customer service and an all-around great establishment. You will not be disappointed.CHRISTOPHERParking: N/A
