The food here is great. However, I will say the level of service at the Kinston location makes me want to take the drive to the Goldsboro location. Bartender didn’t seem to care about serving me but apparently some regulars (making a positive assumption here) came in and she was all over them. So, if you go for dining, you will love it. Going to the bar may have a different experience depending upon who you are I guess!

Excellent Asian fusion with a touch of continental American
The Laughing Owl Restaurant in Kinston offers a wide variety of delicious dishes on their menu. Customers enjoy the fusion cuisine and large servings. While some dishes like the Signature soup may not be a hit, the curry dishes are highly recommended. The Walnut Shrimp with cashews is a favorite, and the poppers are surprisingly good. With a nice atmosphere and good service, this restaurant comes highly recommended.
