“We were so glad we found this treasure! Sophistication in nature is nice to come by. A beautiful three story log cabin in a wonderful setting with the rippling water in Lynch Creek as your mood music. The food and service is flawless along with the extraordinarily nice patrons. We have met and made friends with so many talented people here. Best thought of all though, is at the whole time you are helping to support a non-profit organization that is doing such a wonderful job of providing for the people in the area.”

“The ambiance is nice and rustic albeit a bit loud. The service is excellent. The food was prepared to perfection. The Lobster spaghetti was superb as was the Linguini with clam sauce. We highly recommend making the trip to Franklinton. One word of caution, On the weekend it is tough to find parking and forget about handicap parking.”

“Went there for the 1st time today with friends we had been going to MacD's for breakfast once a week but the new high melanin mgr has destroyed it! 2 weeks in a row they had NO drinks thats right no drinks except water and orange juice so it was time to move on. Well I want to thank the new high melanin mgr because Sunshine is head above what they ever were so thanks for running us off we found a REAL GOOD place to have breakfast! The biscuits are large and very good so eat here forget the others in the area this is the place.”

I have one stupid little complaint. When you sit down at the bench near the register, there's stuff on the wall behind you. The problem is that it sticks out like four inches and it's right where your head would go and it's hard, so if you're not careful when you sit down, you can hit your head. I've done this twice and it stings.”

“Today May 12 2023 we had a rather large gathering at the Ruby Tuesday in Henderson (Vance County) and I know it was overwhelming and and a bit much however we had a great time.The service was a little bit confusing but our waitress,being 8 months pregnant was on point.I don’t remember her name but she was on top of things!!’ Our bartender was very attentive and accurate.I want to rate their service A ?. I don’t want to applaud all of them,however those 2 young ladies went above and beyond expectations!! Thank you for their services!! I just pray they get the recognition they deserve. By the way I’m in customer service also.To those 2 young ladies I commend you!! May God continue and bless them on they path of hospitality!”

“I just had dinner here for the first time, I've been wanting to try it for awhile now.I had the Texas fajitas and It was delicious 🤤! The beer was ice cold, the salsa was fresh and spicy, and the fajita was sizzling! My waitress was very friendly and attentive. I mean, what more can you ask for from a restaurant. “our visit was to Celebrate Valentine's day and my new job, However we will not return, My mom ordered fried pork chop, my self and my boyfriend ordered a rib eye, both well done, they brought my mom a grilled pork chop, Not what she ordered, my mom doesn't eat grilled food at all, My boyfriend's rib eye was 16 oz well done, it came out, not well done so our waitress takes it back, they bring it out 2nd time, still not well done, just put on another plate and yes you see the red on the plate, So it goes back again, Then they bring out another steak and yes well done but now the steak is way smaller, We ask to speak to a manager and low and behold our waitress was the manager on duty, we complained and told her we were not satisfied with the service, She stated that she made it right by getting my mother's fried pork chops and after 3 times bringing a well done steak for my boyfriend, but smaller than what he originally ordered, We asked for the check, They never showed any concern or compassion for their short comings, We waited for the check, Finally I just told my boyfriend to let's get up and wait at the check out for our check, as I got up, She then handed me the check in their little Black case, We walked straight over and handed it to the cashier, She just cut her eyes at me, I had my card out ready to pay , I asked her how much it was and she starts mumbling about the Customers, After paying $86 for all of that, Nope will not go back but do expect my money back when Johnny King learns of this”
