this place was phenomenal. the food was outstanding and the menu was a perfect size with a great variety of choices! amazing cocktails and great service. we got a gluten free cookie skillet at the end of our amazing dinner that i will not stop dreaming about for years probably. pricing was perfectly reasonable!

This place is AMAZING and great for gluten free. My wife and I tried the ribs, salmon, mahi mahi. Everything was incredible. We finished with a life changing gluten free skillet cookie, and lots of great cocktails. 10/10

Our first day in the outer banks and we were looking for a very relaxed, chill bar for a quick bite and drink. We found this at Barefoot Bernies! It was just what we were seeking. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly, bartender named Ashley. It was a weekend afternoon, so the place had a nice crowd but not overly crowded. Although all of the seats at the bar were filled, Ashley was still very attentive to our needs. She offered not only good drinks, but a charming, fun, pleasant, personality. The food was much better than expected. My husband and I shared a trio of dips with nacho chips. All were delicious, fresh and hot! The cocktail menu was very good, and the beer selection fairly extensive.
Overall, We enjoyed our visit there so much that we returned the next evening to watch a football game. The place was VERY crowded, yet everyone there went out of their way to accommodate 4 of us while waiting for a seat.
We all had a delicious meal with no complaints about the food or service. Both were great! I will definitely return here on my next trip to OBX!

The menu had lots of options to choose from. We had a party of 11 ranging in ages from 5 to 78. Everyone loved their entrees and many of us had plate envy. We ate here on the second night of our vacation and loved it so much that we all went back a second time on the last night of the trip. I had the Fruits de Mar entree the first time, which was excellent. The second evening, I tried the South Pacific Tuna, but subbed the jasmine rice with coconut rice. This dish is AMAZING! The pickled cucumbers are delish! No one left hungry or disappointed on with trip. I also suggest trying the Hot Maryland Crab Dip. The pita points served with this dip are wonderful.

On our family trip to OBX, 16 of us had a fantastic meal! The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding! My daughter said it was the best crab cake sandwich she had not only on our vacation but ever! My father-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits. We can’t wait to patronize this restaurant again next year. I know you will love it, too!

Servers was wonderful, I ordered the fish tacos. I barely ate one. The taco was cold and there was more topping than fish, the fish was finely chopped up under the toppings.
