Sadly, this restaurant is slipping. It has been a mainstay for us in OBX for almost thirty years but the last two visits, especially or most recent earlier this week, has been subpar. Everything from our server's other lack of personality down to my platter. Especially for the price point, it just wasn't good.
Amanda was our server; she was EXCELLENT! Our party of 4 orders were: Bacon-wrapped Scallops, Chicken and Ribs, Swordfish, and Prime Rib. Appetizers that we shared: Onion Rings, Tuna Tataké, and Buffalo Shrimp.

One of the things that just lost a total star, if not too, was putting hot items in plastic containers brought to the table . First of all at a restaurant like that I don’t think anything should be coming out in plastic second of all hot items such as marinara and plastic containers with what we know now about bleaching of poisonous chemicals is insane.
