What’s sad is if the owners cared even 25% more this would be an amazing spot. The food was an embarrassment lacking both care, attention, or seasoning .. I mean even our crab cake was frozen in the middle. It’s clear nobody here cares about what they are serving. Sad. (Server was very nice)

On a recent trip to Duck, NC, we ate at Fishbones. Both my husband and I ordered the tuna. It was so tender and delicious. Our server was also exceptional. She gave our grandkids some paper and crayons and after they completed their drawings, she posted them on her counter. So thoughtful!!!
We will definitely return on our next visit.

Brought a group of 12 here on Saturday. Great service, even better food. Clam chowder was delicious, seafood gnocchi and chicken gnocchi were as well.

We tried this place for the second year in a row during our annual vacation. We had the macho nachos as an app. The taco meat was so flavorful and we enjoyed the service at the bar. See you next year

Loved the atmosphere. Thats it. Oysters should have been 1/2 price b/c they were so small and over cooked. Soooo disappointed. 😒

The clam chowder was acceptable but have had much better. Fish and chips was all chips and there was no way the mahi was fresh. It had either been frozen or reheated 😝

3 for me is a decent rating for a place I will eat at anytime. 4 is a seriously freat place, with a 5 a place i have not yet been to. However the lobster, crab and shrimp mac n cheese was out of this world great! A definite 5!!

Based on a review on this site we decided to try this place. Small place. Clean and bright not like a bar. Husband had coconut shrimp and he loved them. 10 large shrimp. I had shrimp and grits and they were some of the best I ever ate except the andouile sausage was very hot. They should have used a mild or medium spiced sausage. We asked if they were local shrimp and were told no. Steamed shrimp are local. Maybe that's why the prices were reasonable. Would definitely eat here again. Half pound burgers with fries are $14 if that is any indication of prices. Service was excellent as well.
We were seated quickly and our server was very sweet and attentive—that’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. Everything was bland, lacking flavor, and definitely overpriced for what we got. Honestly, it felt like a waste of money and I left wishing we had chosen another place. Trust me when I say skip this place!

It was fairly crowded, we ate at the bar. The bartender was very nice and a good server. Food was fine, just fad appetizers. The shrimp was seasoned well, the wings were huge. I think I liked the cheesesteak egg rolls the best

The Conch chowder is really good and I've never had a bad meal there. We go every year when we make it to the Outer Banks.
