I Got Your Crabs Shellfish Market and Oyster Bar

The crabs are okay but the owners wife sure seems to be one of them! Women have that time of the month but for Miss O it must be a daily thing with her - nasty personality, always complaining about somebody, easily offended, a busy body know it all, and forever on her high horse (literally) That screeching little girl just might be happier riding something else other than horses if you know what I mean! Her and her yappy little housewife friends are all very much like a pack of annoying Chihuahuas that won't stop barking, the kind you just want to knock aside. She likes to prance around like she's such a hard worker but the most work she's done in her life (and most little girls like her) has more than likely been on her back and/or on her knees. Sounds to me like she is so uptight because hubby Hunter isn't putting out.. he's probably sitting in a duck blind somewhere with one of his "buddies." Shouldn't be too hard for her to find a playmate though, she's very popular with all the old men on Bells Island! But hey, sex work is a way to pay the bills too, right?

OMG! Was disappointed with seafood down here until the Hummer Horse Tour guide recommened this place. I had Dungess Crab and it was sweet and delish. Other dishes we had were blue crab nachos, fried clams, sweet potatoe fries with the best brown sugar dip, oyster stew, steamed scallops, crab dip mushrooms, crab cake plate, crab bisque, calamari and fries. We all loved everything and will be back again this week. Best service ever. I dont think I have ever seen staff flying around a restaurant like those ladies did. Amazing! Can't wait to go back. The crab was so good it didn't even need any butter. Get the sweet potato fries! I just can't put into words how delish this food was.

Late on writing this review: we visited this place to get some blue crabs on our last day at outer banks around mid Oct, and I’m just kicking myself for not visiting sooner, because these are the best, biggest, freshest and most perfectly cooked crabs I’ve ever had in my life!! We got a half dozen for 2 people and the size of these things are so big we barely could finish 3 each for a full meal!!!
The girls working the front desk are so friendly and helpful too!! We did take out and she hold out a big one and let us take multiple photos haha. We left with the biggest smile on our faces.
Definitely 100% check this place out if you are in the area!

This place is a treasure. They have almost everything you could want from a seafood restaurant. Nice stainless steel bar counter that they cover with craft paper. We had snow crab legs (tender, tasty), Oysters Rockefeller (interesting unique take on that, very rich and creative), middleneck clams (steamed to perfection) and a big Atlantic blue crabs with heavy seasoning (chock full of meat, not watery). Sweet corn on the cob (buttery, salt & pepper, delish) and Grandpappy's Salad (interesting take on an iceberg lettuce salad, everything diced except the lettuce, very tasty. Lettuce acted like a boat on my fork to carry the diced items. Delicious dressing). Carolina Sky Blue Kolsch to wash everything down. Feels like a family owned and operated establishment. The mother of the founder was there, proudly bragging on her son and offering to teach us how to open the crab & snow crab. Great story about the origins of the place on the back of the menu. No visit to the Outer Banks is complete without a visit to this place. Go here! I think I'm going back for king crab legs.

We’re in the south so we have to get used to this kind of food. DEEP FRIED!The crab cakes were the size of hockey pucks! One would have been more than enough! The sweet potato fries were good as well. Husband had the fried shrimp with waffle fries. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

When we vacation in OBX, we go to I Got your Crabs at least once. We just went for the holiday weekend, and it didn't disappoint. Our favorite is the crab bisque, it's absolutely amazing. We even get some to bring home. My husband loves their crab cakes, there's hardly any filler in them and they're so flavorful. My personal favorite is the fried scallops, they're delicious! Service is always good, and the food has consistently been delicious. We can't complain about the prices either. This restaurant is a family's favorite!
