We loved our cake! Ordered a Triple Fudge Kahlua cake for 10 people and it was very good! Moist flavorful cake with generous portions. Very pretty and festive for the birthday girl! I wish I took pictures! The perfect amount of chocolate, we even have a family member who doesn’t like most chocolate cakes and loved his! Also, Debra was so nice to answer my questions for an allergy in our family and super nice at pick-up, protecting our cake on a very rainy day with plastic wrap to preserve the presentation. Would definitely order again!

Debra made our wedding cake for our wedding at the Hilton Pier House this summer. We wanted a fairly simple cake, but it was delicious and even more beautiful than we expected. It was also very affordable. Debra made us exactly what we were looking for - we highly recommend using her!

We loved our cake and various desserts that Debra provided! She gave us a nice variety to sample prior to the wedding. She was willing to take any requests, including making buckeyes which is a staple from where my family is from in Ohio. Debra delivered the desserts directly to the venue on the day of. It was a very stress-free experience! Thanks again Debra!

Breakfast was interesting. Waited for 3 minutes while several tables were cleaned. Inadequate staffing. Very old cups of coffee served. Undrinkable. Omelet was served. Questionable taste. Cautionary - no eat. Home fries appeared to have been made the previous night. Questionable spicing. Grits were interesting and dry. Orange juice and toast were fine. Single server for entire dining room was hustling and doing her best. Restaurant requires much adjustment.

We ordered our wedding cake from here. Mrs. Debra was so easy to work with thru texts, calls and emails since we lived 3 hours away. The cake was absolutely beautiful, just as I imagined and we had so many compliments on how delicious the cake was. I highly recommend them for any of your cake needs! Thank you so much Mrs. Debra!

I spent my honeymoon week eating my wedding cake from my 8/28/2021 wedding, and only stopped because I couldn't figure out a way to pack it to bring back home. It was still good a week later. We had the most amazing key lime wedding cake that our guests were raving about (and they also happily took some home from the reception). Debra made the whole process so easy from start to finish. Even with Covid. We picked up a box of samples to try at our own pace, and I do suggest pa

We stopped on our way out of OBX and were pleasantly surprised with a delicious and quick breakfast. Biscuits were fresh and delicious, grits and sausage were yummy. Our server was the only waitress and was running her tail off, but was attentive, friendly and doing an amazing job.

We had breakfast here. It was a little pricey, but the food and the vibes were good. They offered non- traditional breakfast fare.

Service is excellent and food is fresh. Staff is friendly and tries to keep everyone happy. Owners make their own breads and pastries.

My husband and I were in the area for a doctors appointment and we stopped in for breakfast. We ordered the omelets and were very pleased. We had a little wait, however, everywhere we go out to eat, we’ve become accustomed to the wait due to the difficulty in finding employees nowadays. We are glad we found this place, the food and service was good and we did not leave hungry. All of the tabletops are a beautiful piece of artwork (made by a local artist) that is offered for sale. The next time we visit, we will definitely purchase one of the pieces. The front parking lot is a bit small if you are driving a full-size pick-up especially if the restaurant is busy. I believe there is additional parking in the back. Highly recommend if you live nearby or on vacation.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of the OBX. This was new to us, and very good. Covid careful, nice coffee, good menu for those with veggie priorities. Breakfast burrito was served steaming hot with a nice blend of ingredients and spices. Getting service help has been a huge OBX issue this year. We had a brand new server who was wonderful - attentive and kind. We'll be back.

I reached out requesting a surprise birthday cake for my husband. Debra responded with a suggestion of what she thought I wanted. That wasnt the flavors so I told her specifically the flavors. She said yes if I wanted that. I then told her the writing I would like and quickly changed my mind. I double checked the writing a few days before. She verified it. The entire cake was incorrect. She had the writing wrong and the flavors wrong as it was an eclair cake. I wanted vanilla cheesecake mousse filling with vanilla buttercream frosting. I didn't realize the cake was wrong until we cut into it. It was tasteless and the slices were tossed barely touched as well as the rest of the cake. I took a picture of what was left to show it was wrong compared to what we discussed. She blames me for the misunderstanding and refuses a refund. Dont waste your time or money here. That was a total waste of $54.

ordered pigs in a blanket and got a really good sausage in an uncooked (wet) pancake. the eggs were well done hard. I asked for scrambled with cheese. the best thing was the sausage biscuit with gravy and the pear mimosa, delish!! I did not tell the server anything because there was not one dish I didn't want to send back. She was a good server. drinks are good.

I wish I had better news but if a good breakfast is what you want, don't go to Argyles. The service was mediocre. But the food was awful. My friend and I ordered crepes. Here was to have FRESH fruit consisting of strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Last time I checked none of the were in the cooked compote that came in crepes that were too thick and raw to eat. While the filling for my Apple cinnamon crepes was similar in taste to Apple pie filling, the crepes were still not done. Upon questioning the waitress, who went to the kitchen and came back with the answer, " She says they're French crepes and are supposed to be like that. This was reiterated several times by the same waitress. Never saw a manager. Never saw the cook. Never was given a choice to choose something else or have the item removed from the bill. Won't be going back. That was a $30 lesson learned.
