I cannot say enough wonderful things about Debra and Icing on the Cakes in Kitty Hawk, NC! I had preordered a German chocolate cake for my dad’s 75th birthday, which we were planning to celebrate on the second day of our beach vacation. Unfortunately, when we arrived at our rental, it turned out to be uninhabitable. After hours of back-and-forth with the rental company, we made the difficult decision to drive 5 hours back to my dad’s home instead.

We loved our cake! Ordered a Triple Fudge Kahlua cake for 10 people and it was very good! Moist flavorful cake with generous portions. Very pretty and festive for the birthday girl! I wish I took pictures! The perfect amount of chocolate, we even have a family member who doesn’t like most chocolate cakes and loved his! Also, Debra was so nice to answer my questions for an allergy in our family and super nice at pick-up, protecting our cake on a very rainy day with plastic wrap...

Debra made our wedding cake for our wedding at the Hilton Pier House this summer. We wanted a fairly simple cake, but it was delicious and even more beautiful than we expected. It was also very affordable. Debra made us exactly what we were looking for - we highly recommend using her!
