Jimmy's Seafood Buffet

Wonderful buffet always lots of choices and a fun atmosphere. Our server Jake was awesome always made sure we were taken care of. Always a favorite stop when we come to the OBX!

Totally not worth going. Staff was super rude way over priced. Waitresses constantly looking over your shoulder so you didn’t by chance share any food with anybody because as soon as you did they want to charge them for buffet. Management was horrid especially on there policy of half your table must have the buffet or leave there Restraunt. Couldn’t order anything but fried food if you didn’t want buffet because they said it took too long and they had to seat other people. Worst experience in a Restraunt ever. I would never recommend anybody going to eat here.

Food was halfway decent for a buffet, the extremely rude staff and the management of this place are terrible. If you have a group of people don’t expect to be seated together and you will still be charged the group gratuity automatically. Also don’t ask any questions to the manager, his only response is it’s policy but the “policy” is no where to be shown. I asked to see the policy where more than 50% of your party must purchase the buffet. He couldn’t show me the policy in writing and said “if you don’t like it you can leave”

The server was about 65 years old and rude as can be as well. We will not be back.

Crab legs steamed perfectly each time we have been. Friendly servers. It’s a fun, busy place but everyone working & dining was happy & courteous when we were there today. My Dads favorite place for crab legs is Jimmy’s!! 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀

Over crowded and over priced! Is NOT WORTH IT!! I don’t understand the hype of this place. You’re better off having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner! Seriously, with the kind of money they make, there’s no reason this place is cramped as it is, and a server shouldn’t be making $100 tip for hardly any service! I will gladly spend the $200 next time at Tale of the Whale…. You want good food, go there! Do better!

Not good at all. The prices were not consistent, from the website to the sign and then told a different price when we say down. We got there at open and the seating to getting to the food was not organized. The website said $52 per person and then told it was $65. The food was sub par and then the service was inconsistent and the waiter Jason kept filling the wrong drinks in our cups. He was very distracted and messed up everyones checks. Then not to his fault we were told the tip was added automatically. Which was annoying since it was 15% and we had bad service. Over all for a first visit very bad never recommending to anyone.

Food was classic pre-frozen fried crap at a top dollar price. Seafood was super fishy smelling and tasting. Part of our party ordered off the menu and were told it would be a 30 min wait, after they forced half our party to get the buffet. They stated that is policy but it is noted nowhere. I would avoid this place unless you want bad food at a kings ransom rate. The waitress was also super rude. All around the worst experience at any restaurant I've ever had.

Absolutely worst business I’ve ever seen!!! If you’re looking for an honest business with good food stay away! Topping it all off was being charged $66 per person when advertised as $53! The food was well below par about that of a gas station! Kept getting wrong drinks, food was not hot! We were forced to pay a 15% tip after being charged an over charged amount of $213 the server then came back took our ticket and made it $258 for 3 people! Yeah if you don’t mind getting screwed go here!!!!!!! I will never support a crooked business like this ever again!!

My wife and I and out good friends went here last night. We were seated promptly and out server explained everything to us. The line to get up to the buffet was very, very long but it moved surprisingly quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious. And our server was incredibly nice. We have loved Jimmy’s everything we go and we will continue to make this one of our favorite summers each time we come down.

false advertising flying behind the planes ,stating all you can eat lobster tails !!@ not mentioning only till 5. at the door! straight bait and switch...alot of unhappy tourists...got me once , thats on Jimmy!!! never again. ..spend your hard earned money at captain George's!!
