Rude staff poor food quality kinda reminds me of a hog trough. Have been to Jimmy's many times and each time it gets worse I will never cast my shadow in the door again. Go to Captain George's much better by far.

I didn't even know there were that many varieties of crab legs. This is by far the best seafood buffet I've ever seen. Can't wait to go back.

We really enjoyed our meal here and give how many type of crab legs, lobster and seafood is included in the price, we find it to be very fair (not cheap for sure, but fair for all you can eat)
Our server is super pleasant and keeps our drink topped up at all times, cleaning our bucket of shells regularly.
Unfortunately some of the lobster and crab legs are on the tough side, either super salty or watery. But we do get that it is buffet, so it is harder to control the doneness in seafood.
Overall it’s a fun experience, everyone should try it at least once if you are in OBX

Beware of large group inclusive tipping. For a buffet the automatic tips are excessive.

The food is decent but I think it is quantity over quality. The ice tea was $6.97. That was a rip off. Basically $14 for 2 refillable drinks. They have a lot of everything but nothing stuck out as delicious. I did really enjoy the homemade cookies. Is it worth $55…. No, it is not. The ladies bathroom stinks really bad, they really need to fix that fast. It’s a real turn off

We went on a “Wild Wednesday” expecting to be able to get the lobster tails. We got to the restaurant at 5:30 and waited almost 2 hours for a table for 6. By the time we sat down we were told that they were out of the lobster tails, which you pay extra for and they didn’t give us the regular buffet pricing since they were out of lobster. Very disappointed!

We ate here on Wednesday September 25th. The food was amazing. But service and atmosphere was awful. The tables are too close together which results in having to move chairs out of the way to get to and from your table. It was so crowded and loud. You had to wait in line for the buffet after waiting a significant amount of time to get a plate because they were behind on washing. I would not reccomend coming here. Buy your seafood from a market and cook it at your house.

We have been eating at Jimmy’s for the past 10 years 14 of us went and we had to sit outside. It was somewhat cool and windy. I did not eat. I just got some water when they came with the check. I told him that I didn’t have anything to eat. They said it didn’t matter. Still had to pay. Needless to say the 14 of us will never be back there again, the crab legs were not good this time down I just could not believe that they made me pay for a meal. I didn’t even eat My husband was not impressed this time. I’m assuming that the management says it doesn’t matter who comes in they all pay full . We will go to Captain George’s never been disappointed there. We’ve eaten at every restaurant in the area. I will post recommendations on my website and the Outer Banks.

I usually go to Capt George's but wanted to try this place. I like the food here better than Capt. George. Jimmy's has more seafood selection and desserts and some of the food you can tell is home made (cheese cake & crabcake balls) unlike Capt. Which you can tell is just processed food. No its not as big and roomy like Capt George's but it worked for us. Staff is nice food was good what else can you ask for.

Amazing seafood buffet. Crab...crab...crab! If you don't like crab then I would suggest finding someplace else. No atmosphere to speak of, just a buffet line with a lot of crab! They have other options too, but if you are paying $ 60 per person you should skip the mac/cheese and head for the crab.
