Max's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Lived on the beach 50yrs…seen great pizza come and go. All our “go-tos” have been lately disappointing as passed to new hands. Max’s is new to us, so we tried. We were so impressed and happy for a place of good pizza again…crust great, pizza full with everything advertised and delicious sausage. They raised the bar over local “go-tos”. We ordered out, but my husband said it was A great atmosphere for dining.

We have finally found the best pizza around! The flavor is everything! So so good. We'll be back to try everything!

Excellent spaghetti/meatballs and sausage parm sub. Meatballs were very moist. Portions were large and we took leftovers home.

To be honest we were so excited for Italian tonight but wanted to eat at hotel. When we opened our 2 meals we both looked at each other like seriously. We got veal parmesan and the you couldn't bite into the veal then noodles were over cooked and there was no sauce. Which tasted like can sauce. The lasagna was a sloppy mush mess in the container. All cheese and 2 bites of meat if lucky on it. No taste at all. Stouffer's lasagna is better than this sadly. Neither of us could eat our meals. Maybe they're having an off night? I hate spending 70-80 and now have to reorder somewhere else.

We ordered take out on 9/11/25. Absolutely delicious. We had pepperoni pizza, Alfredo, chicken parm, and garlic bread. Everything was so good. Would Absolutely recommend this place to others!

Amazing food. I'm so glad we didn't pass on this! My husband has lived in NYC and in Italy and simply raves about the pizza at Max's! Everything our party of 6 ordered was stellar!
