It's a hit or miss here. If they are not busy, you will get hot food, and typically, what you ordered. If it's busy, I've never ended up with a correct order. Also, if you get specialty drinks from the cafe, they never taste like they should. Overall, this is an ok McDonald's. The one down in Kill Devil Hills is better.

I wouldn’t normally review a McDonalds, but wow. We ordered from the kiosk, and while we sat and waited for breakfast, we listened to the manager compliment her team multiple times. “Good job everybody”, “keep going”, “I’m proud of you” could be heard from the kitchen. The food was great, hot and timely. It is nice to see a manager care for her people and about her job! Leaving with a full belly and a little faith in humanity.

The food was good. The staff was nice, but incredibly slow. It took forever for me to pay for my order and the get my nuggets trio & cheeseburger even though the restaurant was practically empty inside. I would definitely recommend improving that aspect of customer service.
